Those who are judging Amirs chances of taking Mccloskeys punches based on the Maidana fight are not comparing like with like. Khan was able to set himself for Maidana's punches and absorb them. Mccloskey throws punches that catch the opponent unawares and so not able to brace themselves for the impact. If mccloskey is able to sneak one through and catch Khan when hes not expecting it then there could be trouble. I hope he is overawed by the occasion and that Khan can overwhelm him before he gets the chance to land his shot.

Those who are judging McCloskey's chances by looking at the faults of Khan in the Maidana and Precott fights, are also not comparing like for like. Perhaps they should look at Khan's fight with Paulie instead.

But I agree, though. McCloskey has all the ability to knock Khan down/out with a shot he won't see.

This is confirmed?? I thought Manny and Khan had agreed between the two of them that they would not face one another, also Khan knows if he went down that route then he can say goodbye to Freddie working with him. Rather short-sighted by Manny's people really, they'd both benefit with the sparring for their respective fights, also would have thought that Roach would be calling the shots as far as the training goes...

P.S. When do you get full account priviledges back after serving a ban?

There's a YouTube video where Roach says someone from Manny's camp requested Manny to not be put in with Khan, in the event that he may have to fight him at some point in the future. Whether Roach has honoured this request or not, I'm not sure.

But it's stupid. Khan has repeatedly said he will never fight Pacquiao, and yes, it's Roach who should be calling the shots in regards to training.

No idea, mate. When were you released? I think you may have to wait a week or so.
