I get the sense you don't like Ricky Hatton?

MEN Arena confirmed 2,000 Ticks sold already, according to Saj.

It's to take care of the elements that are outside their realm.

TK's only promotion experience so far has been just dealing with Khan's business. They have no real practical experience organising something like this.
Bringing in Hatton Promotions takes away a lot of those issues, and makes building the undercard a lot easier.

Best thing to do really, they'd of been in for a big shock had they tried doing it all themselves.

Yeah, Khan's attitude between fights is terrible IMO. He trains like a 32 year champion, 3 times a year. He's 24, not the finished article, he should be in the gym all year round mastering his craft.

The majority of fighters look like that before training camp. Especially when they're not naturally cut up like the Bradleys and Mayweathers.

Khan only puts on 10-15 pounds between fights. He was about 12 pounds over at the Khan/Maidana first press conference.

McCloskey does look soft, Khan isn't a whole lot better. But you can't be fighting fit all year round - what matters is your condition on fight night (and that you haven't taken too much out of yourself getting there.)

Similar in height, though Khan's probably an inch taller. It looks like he may have a longer reach, too.

Yeah though it's not his weight or condition that concerns me too much, it's more his technical development and time he wastes not training all year round. With that hand speed he has a decent chance of making himself into a great fighter, however if he continues like he is, I don't think he'll ever get into that elite level category.

In today's boxing, when you reach Amir's status as a well-known world champ, it's almost impossible to do anything more than 3 times a year. Even the likes of Bradley, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Mosley, etc, didn't fight more than that when they were at his stage.

2010 was a very inactive year for him, yes. But that was a one off, and now it's only 6 or so weeks since his last gruelling fight, and he's set for another training camp.
