ah, sure without sounding gay how was pauls body looking ? always thought he looked a bit too soft there.

im going over for the fight and despite the fact i believe Dudey will put up a decent show the consensus seems to be amongst the sensible irish on here and the brits is that mcCloskeys gona get blown away in 2. £75 squid a ticket there had better be a riot or something for me to watch


I do see it as a good fight with some action but if head rules heart i see a Khan flurry on the ropes at 9 or 10 and McCloskey taking a few (although not big punches) and the ref jumping in and stopping it

 

i just hope McCloskey puts up a decent fight, i HATE watching early blow outs.

 

McCloskey using a strength and conditioning coach for the first time in this fight, so hopefully he will be less fat. He always looks to be carrying extra weight/fat especially around the lower abdominal region

 

when do sky sports show the countdown or behind the scene footage or what ever it was they were supposed to?

hope mccloskey makes a fight of it meself and truly i think that he doesnt have much chance but sport always throws up surpises and im hopin as a dudey fan that he can somehow find a way to win

Khan would be an idiot if he does go in there and takes McCloskey out early, when you consider his last fight in this country was against Salita then fans will surely stop paying to see him live if he's going to blow out 'bums' and not give people value for money.

 

Obviously he was sparring and training in all the gear so what can you say. He said his wife is happy enough with the new guns on offer and his back/shoulders look toned, if that answers your question. He looks extremely fit and strong and sparring has been great.

I would expect him to show up in the condition of his life, like has been said he's used a S&C coach for this fight for the first time and you see the benefits that can bring immediately - Khan and Dunne being decent examples.

He was boxing in his bare feet - ****ed if I remember why - when he ripped off his big toenail in the fourth. He finished the six rounds with blood pouring all over the shop!

 

Sparring Bare foot LOL!. I know DeGale gets in ring before show starts and walks around ring bare foot but **** that.....sounds sore!!!

 

I agree, you've got to feel for Khan - he's basically on the breadline. We should start a charity to try and support him in his time of need.
