ok but for someone whos first 15 fights were on itv ,and he has not foguth over here for maybe 18 month.now if he was big star, you would find that there would be a demand there and this would be close to selling out ... as for the allocation given to his uncle...what was the allocation exactly ?

Yes, but he did have that big bump against Prescott. Since that, the casual public lost interest in him. Also...... I don't like bringing it up, but Amir's race and religion also contributes to that. If people don't believe me on that one, go to any Amir Khan video and you'll be sure to find a fair few racist comments, especially the Prescott loss one's! Khan was also a bit arrogant earlier on in his career with all that Pacquiao nonsense, which also put people off.

We've got our very own racist ***** right here, Joan_Guzman (AKA Mr V.I.P)

No idea on the allocation. I've actually just messaged his uncle on the amount of Tickets sold, so I rather not be a pest with all these questions. Just gotta deal with what we know.

Listen Laz i agree with ya to a point. Just wanna pick you up on the racist **** written on Youtube. I seen Youtube comments racially abusing Mayweather,Pacquiao and even abusing white fighters to a much lesser extent. It's like the GF without fear of being banned or people knowing there identity.

I can't say there ain't haters of Khan because he is of ****stani decent and Muslim but the youtube comments are people all over world some at wind up and some who are pure scum. I'm not a big fan of Khan because of him as a fighter and character but i give the lad props on his heart and respect for stepping between ropes...i've had to pick a few people up in past when they've said stuff about him ''he's **** ****ing ****'' that sorta stuff.

Anyone actually know what time this fight starts?

I've heard 10pm and also heard that it will be closer to midnight. Surely if its not been shown live in USA, the fight should be around 10.00/10.30pm?

Of course. In no way am I saying people not liking Amir is solely down to Race in any way, but it's most definitely a contributing factor.

Yep, as I just said in that post, the other part of it being his arrogance or as you choose to put it, his overall character which is totally understandable.

I just think it has contributed a fair bit to his lack of reputation, but then again, there's a 100 other reasons why he might not be liked so I can't blame it on that entirely.

Glad that you understand that ****, though. Londoner's talk sense :good

i dont think its a huge factor though, look at naz same race religion etc but he was loved by everyone from celebs to working class folk, khans arrogance and stupidity is the main factor i reckon well it is the main reason for my dislike

Do you guys reckon they'll show this in Walkabout pubs?

Watched Haye - Audley at Walkabout and it was a good atmosphere

true enough but i dont think a few nutjobs blowing themselves up on buses and trains will result in a whole nations dislike of a boxer

Well it's not really a whole nation and you'd be suprised. Im not saying it's a influence on everyone, but it does sway people that way.

Some people would just not like his boxing, some people might not like the way he talks, some people might think he's cocky and some people might say the above but really are racist that's the way it is im afraid.
