Watson keeps tattooing Purdy with his right, as a jab and a hook. Left crosses are leaked out intermittently to maintain Purdy's respect and keep him from accelerating to rush in past the rights. Purdy is trying to crouch his way in, but Watson is reacting to all his movements and staying squared up to rain counters on him. Purdy comes forward behind several wide arm punches, with Watson taking them on the back of the gloves and shoeshining him. Purdy tries a short right uppercut as he pushes Watson into the ropes.

Khan says that if he and Pacquiao ever fought, Roach would be unable to pick a side and would sit at home to watch. OK, Amir. You go on believing that. Your working relationship of a couple of years carries as much weight as a decade with his lifetime cash cow.

Junior Witter criticizes Watson for sloppy defense and hints that he saw the KO coming. :roll:

Witter says that he had a date signed and sealed with Khan for tonight but that "something happened" with Sky and/or Khan's people and it fell apart...resulting in McCloskey getting the shot.

Brook says he is looking for a title and if Khan wants to step up to the challenge when he goes to 147, he'll be waiting for him. :yep
