its a pointless fight IMO, the only fight that would win him back fans would be a prescott rematch and i could easily see him getting flattened again.

Spad just too inconsistent. He'd need a miracle just to be back in contention. Right now dont even see him getting past Khan victims Judah or Paulie how he beating Khan? Can he even get past Vernon Paris?

So its a pointless fight for Khan because he has a chance of winning whereas fighting prescott will have Khan flattened again and his career completely ireffutably finished?

I am talking about a fight that will benefit Khan and give him some modicum of hope of making a solid comeback, not one that will destroy him and give his most bitterest haters happiness

I'm not a hater of his i was a Fan till after the peterson fight. IMO hes buying time fighting guys like spadofora. prescott is fringe world level he gases out after 6 rounds with the right game plan they can win but with khans chin anythings possible thats why i could see him getting taken out again.

How the **** did Spadafora get "smacked around" by Sosa? Did you even watch the fight?

Spadafora overcame some very difficult moments early in that fight to dominate rounds 7-12 with some tremendous body punching.

As for the Dorin fight, so what? Dorin was an underrated fighter.

Khan got KTFO out by B and C level opponents (Prescott and Garcia). Dorin was certainly no worse than a B- type.

I agree. Khan cannot fight at close range, and Spadafora is/was always quite adept at scoring on the inside. Moreover, he has at least modest punching power.

Both of those attributes would trouble the one dimensional, chinny Khan.

He is still a good fighter but he can be upset by anyone with a punch.

Of course I saw the fight. Sosa is not and was never good, and Spaddy went life and death getting dropped and hurt numerous times.

Dorin is underrated? He got stopped in 2 by Gatti  :patsch

Amir Khan is really good. He is so good

He could beat Rico Spadafora by decision

Khan is now being underestimated... Khan just has no chin, but besides that factor, Khan can keep up with the big boys.

Wrong. Spadafora got hurt early in the fight and damn near swept the entire second half of the fight.

It was a UD was it not? And since the guy you're ballwashing has one of the worst chins around, have enough sense to avoid making disparaging remarks about who did or didn't get "dropped our hurt numerous" times.

Gatti stopped Dorin. And?? Gatti was stopped by Angel Manfredy, a guy Spadafora slapped the **** out of.

    So what's your ****ing point?

Moreover, I noticed you conveniently ducked my other comments, namely that Dorin is/was better than Prescott and is at least in the same general sphere as Garcia-- two guys that knocked Khan the **** out.
