Khan UD. His workrate and speed are too much better, and Malignaggi has no chance of cracking that egg chin of his.

    Interesting fight.

One guy with a chin and no punch and one guy with no chin and a big punch.

    Sounds about even.

Its a long shot, I know, but I might have a little gamble on it.

Cotto wears people down and scraps with them. Khan's got the accuracy and power to take people out with a well placed shot. And the speed to get it there.

Dont get me wrong, im a fan of Cottos but I just think Khan may make a statement here.

  4. Khan has some pop but he needs to bring a gun to get Paulie outta there.

i agree those that think paulie can't be stopped are deluded. the **** the americans give hatton and let's face it hatton wiped the floor with paulie recently , why has he been propelled to invincible status all of a sudden based on the fact that he lost badly ( although gamely ) to a very weight drained cotto. i can see khan taking him out , trust me they won't put khan in a risky fight so they have already established the outcome ...why risk the cash cow at this stage ??

  6. I don't think anyone's saying he can't be stopped. Hatton "stopped" him. It was a premature stoppage in my opinion...yeah he was gettin hit alot, but was he ever off his feet in that fight?

A weight drained Cotto quite literally broke Paulie's face, knocked him down, beat him up the whole fight... and still couldn't get him out. If Khan does a better job than that on The Magic Man he will gain a new fan in this poster.

All that being said, I think Paulie has the speed, skills, and determination to eke out a close decision win.

Khan has better work rate and speed.
Khan UD or TKO aka Hatton style.

Malignaggi's corner threw the towel in so I don't really see it as him being stopped, even though the record books show that he was.

He was happy to keep going and was pretty pissed with it.

It's going to be a close fight, Khan hasn't been in with anyone as good as Paulie but with little power in his punches it's an ideal opponent.

Khan to win by a close decision, possibly even split.

Lets not get too over-awed with Paulie.

He's a good boxer but has only made a name for himself by looking good losing.

Granted, he's lost to some good fighters but N'Doe and Diaz have hardly set the world alight and they are his only decent wins.

    Overrated?

I hope he proves me wrong but a loss to Khan will make sure he doesnt fight for a belt again for a long while.

Tough fight both both of them. Tough for Khan because he can definitely be outboxed by a guy with solid fundamentals...at least the old version of him could be, as evidenced by Limond's early success. He's better now, though, particularly in the defensive department, but also in how he mixes it up from body to head and uses his movement more. Still big questions about his chin.

Malignaggi has NEVER impressed me. I'm constantly confused as to why people refer to him as slick...he doesn't seem slick at all, to me. Someone like Floyd is what you call slick. Paulie, on the other hand, is...quick, but oddly pedestrian. Doesn't seem very slippery to me. That being said, he has a good chin, good speed, and enough skill and experience against top fighters to trouble Khan. Interesting match.

It'll be a good fight, but I think Khan's got this one(unless his chin falls through). Shouldn't be that big of a deal, seeing as how Paulie isn't exactly a heavy hitter.

If Paulie wants to turn the clock back and makes some money, he better win. I feel that Paulie will get stopped via cut or punishment.

Khan to win via brutal KO early rounds, Paulie has not got a good chin he was in running mode against cotto the entire fight.

Hatton shook him at times and we all know Hatton telegraphs his punches and is easy to slip yet he found paulie all night, I'll wager Khan is now hitting much harder than Hatton let alone the speed and accuracy factor.

The earlier poster hit the nail on the head paulie has made a career out of looking good losing.

You don't prove you have a good chin by running away and pot shotting a jab now and then.
