Khan didnt want to know about this when Hatton still had some life left in him. Now all of a sudden he wants a fight with a guy who is a shadow of his former self. About as a laughable as him wanting Morales. Whatever next? maybe he wants a rule that states he can call up his 50 cousins to come and help him when he is losing a fight.
prime hatton kills khan inside 4 rounds id still pick ricky now,but he seems jaded, maybe he'll call it a day now
FAIR PLAY TO KHAN FOR SUGGESTING THE FIGHT AND FAIR PLAY TO HATTON FOR TURNING IT DOWN Why does everyone on here have to side with a fighter all the time, when the answer is plain to see....Amir Khan and Ricky Hattons careers are at completley opposite ends of the spectrum. Hatton is done (so to speak lol)
Hmmmm. Hatton has a Glass Jaw but not as bad as Khan's and Khan is feather fisted. This would be a boring fight against a jab and grabber and a feather fisted runner.
So you're sitting on the fence? (like me ) Also, do you think Hatton always had a glass jaw, or did he just grow one post-Mayweather?
Nah Hatton did not always have a Glass Jaw he had a solid beard for a long time he just can't take a punch anymore his lifestyle may have finally caught up to him. I can't remember a fighter that lost his punch resistance like Hatton did. Honestly I could not pick a winner in this fight.
Hatton lost his punch resistence largely due to activities outside the ring. He didn't behave like a pro, he put on 70lbs of fat between fights and went out binge drinking. When you consider how he fights as well....its no wonder his body has said "enough is enough" Also, the only 'ass whoppins' he took were by two P4P kings. :deal
I'm not sure if a fight with Hatton would help endear Amir Khan to those chavy fans that boo their own compatriot. Then again i dont think anything will, best Khan forgets trying to win them over and just keep blasting their hero's out the water. If you cant join em , beat em. Although he has a weak chin, it's not as bad as some make out. He got caught flush against Prescott, moving into a wild hook..experience would have taught him to stay down or take a knee for that count rather than try to rush to his feet. It was bad luck more than anything else, he didnt even get to box prescott - and im pretty sure he would have outboxed him. Khan is a true boxer, not a brawler, nor a knockout artist but a boxer . He moves in , throws fast combinations and moves out. His footwork and use of the ring was impeccable against Kotelnik, his hands snapped back to his face after throwing his combinations, it truly was a boxing lesson. Kotelniks own watertight guard saved him from suffering serious damage. I would go as far as to say Kotelnik has the best guard at that weight so future fighters will suffer more from Khans speed than the Ukrainian. The only thing against Khan was his lack of lateral thinking: Khan stuck to teh game plan but a few sharp digs to Kotelniks body would have made him drop his guard and expose his chin. In any case he won comfortably and boxed brilliantly, i wonder if the haters can find it in themselves to give him that much
