Khan will look good for 3 rounds then crack under pressure once he start getting mauled and he peddles backwards he cant fight backing up and the ghost will win on the cards with Khan holding on for dear life in the final rounds
It all depends. Khan is much faster than Guerrero, but Guerrero has a better chin. Virgin Hunter is destroying what's left of Khan. On purpose?
Guerrero by KO. But even if Khan's chin holds up the whole fight, I'd favor Guerrero to edge a close decision (Khan would take the opening rounds like usual, I'm sure). Guerrero is way too physical for Khan. Not just that he's physical, but that he's good and smart enough for that to be a problem for Khan... I don't see why Khan would avoid an Alexander fight for a belt in favor of Guerrero. I really don't think Alexander is that much better at all, and stylistically I feel Guerrero is a much more difficult opponent for Khan.
Interesting. Well, I'm really glad that he's gonna be fighting somebody instead of just sitting there and being handed a Mayweather fight on a platter. Call me crazy but I see Khan winning this fight pretty easy. Keep in mind that, despite the Prescott anomaly and Garcia KO, he has successfully faced bigger punchers(Maidana), better boxers(Kotelnik...and yes '09 Kotelnik was better than Guerrero), and superior pressure fighters(Peterson). Khan will realize what's on the line and win a clear decision...IMO.
Because Devon Alexander, despite being a bore to watch, is a nightmare matchup for most guys at 140/147.
This should be a really easy win for Khan. As chinny add Khan may be, Rg doesn't have power to crack it. There's no way the slowness and plodding efforts of Rg will ever be granted the chance to get off.. But then again it is Khan... But still Rg doesn't have an x factor to get him in this. Excellent timing NO Big one shot power NO Great footwork NO Speed NO Aggressiveness or ferocity NO What am I missing from this match up? Seems like an easy win against an overhyped fighter who is overhyped because he beat another overhyped fighter..
I don't think he's that slow he has a bit of height and solid all around, he has decent boxing skills too, it'll be interesting to see how he approaches it, I'd say he might go balls out trying to brawl with khan though , might get him a bit of success but I doubt he'll knockout khan maybe a kd but might look a little like the Peterson fight but a bit more rounds for khan and a bit more action , lookinh forward to it, wonder of gurrero will look any better with the crossfit
It should be fun. Every fight with Khan is fun cause you always know that he can be hurt and the whole pace of the fight changed with one big shot. I'm pretty sure Rg will be thinking what most do, that he can crack that chin if he gets to it. I'd expect him to fight rough, we haven't really seen any boxing from Rg in quite a while. In his last fight the crossfit didn't seem to do him any favors. It was after a long layoff, but be seemed like the same guy in there with Floyd and Berto..
It's the Peterson match that makes me think Guerrero has got a great chance. Khan will be the favourite but this is a genuine 50/50 fight. Guerrero is much better than Peterson, stronger and better rounded and Peterson had Khan in trouble a few times and had him back pedalling after the 6th. I'd go for Khan UD in a close fight but wouldn't be surprised if Robert mauls him for a win.
I only seen the highlights of his last fight but I thought he did look a little stronger maybe a little quicker, but not really any better for some reason. he was going balls out in that fight too, he could be putting too much stock into what he's doing and won't ever be a natural type like they try to make I assume, I had to do a program like that too and they try to build strength around the core and move from there but I don't think it will suit everyone . He might be buyin into too much , should be a great fight anyways can't wait for it
Yeah it's tough fight to call but I think I'm for khan, I get where your coming from with Peterson but I think Peterson a bit smother movement wise more balanced , and I think you could only give Peterson 4 or max 5 rounds aswell. But yeah Theres not too much on that I suppose gurrero could make it work make the fight real sloppy
I don't think Khan has it easy in this fight regardless of the outcome Guerrero will make him work. It's one of Khan toughest ever opponents and after the fight we will know where he truly stands at 147.
