Amir Khan vs. Ruslan Provodnikov later this year?

There were rumours that Khan wanted to leave Al Haymon maybe this is Haymon's response, feed him to Provo.

I would be surprised if Khan agreed based on recent opposition. If he wanted to finally take a risk he'd fight Brook as that is far more lucrative.

Khan could win, he'd easily outbox Provo, but he's going to be in for a really tough night, Ruslan isn't going to quit and if Matthyse couldn't stop him no way in hell Khan is. I could see Provo pulling off an upset.

 

This would be a bad style match up for khan

Khan has never looked good against punchers even if khan somehow wins he will take major punishment i just can't see khan taking this fight.

 

Provo would murder khan. this is worse than the pacquiao fight.

Khan can make this quite easy if he wants, but I don' think he will. Provo hits hard but he gets less KO's because of his lack of boxing skill. Could be a really good fight. I will go Provo KO though, just because I love the guy

 

I can't remember the last guy Ruslan fought who had a worse chin then khan.

The mere blowing of Ruslans missed shots will have a effect.

 

This just seems very stupid it does not seem like khan or haymon to jeopardize a big payday with brook/pac for fighting ruslan when everyone knows this is a bad style match up for him this is only rumors will never happen.

 

Almost right .. i think Khan boxes rings round him before getting stopped late on... If Khan does avoid the big shots somehow then he will shut him out 12-0. As I said Prov would prob find that chin at some point tho

If your gonna put him in with Prov then he is as well goin in with Thurman, Brook, Garcia or Pac ... same risks much bigger rewards.
