So Matthysse (probably top 5 p4p in terms of power) doesn't put a dent in Ruslan but khan stops him?

Let's be honest, Ruslan is the most basic plodder there is, he's never even heard of plan B, he is only dangerous if you trade with him. Khan will UD him in a landslide, unless he gets stupid (can never put it past him, he really is that dumb)

What do you have against council estates? They may not live in estates as such but around 70-80% of Khans fans live in houses paid for by the government. If anything the houses the muslims live in are far more rat like.

Wherever you go you can tell where the muslim area of a city is. Bars on windows, unkempt front gardens, litter strewn everywhere, rusting cars. Council estates in comparison are like paradise.

    Chaves would destroy Provo.

Perhaps you should stick to watching kabaddi. Boxing isnt the sport for you.

A loss to Provo might shut this fraud up and provide us endless entertainment long after the fight. :D

as entertaining as this could be, I can't see what benefit there is to khan facing provo, (unless its for one of floyds vacated titles) he's expected to comfortably outbox him, and there's a very real chance he will get ko'd as ruslan is a decent puncher.

with Garcia ranked no 3 and khan no 2 for the wbc, those two fighting for the vacant title (assuming floyd retires) is what I think khans next fight will be unless pac offers him something.

Provodnikov will KO Khan. He couldn't keep Diaz off him let alone Ruslan. People forget just how bad Khans chin is.

I really do believe it is going to be Mosley, a shot to pieces 44 year old.

I wasn't keen on the Provodnikov fight but I'd happily take that now

I'd like to think that even this version of Mosley has enough power to shatter Khan's atrocious Glass Jaw. Imagine a prime 147 Mosley vs Khan? Jeeeeez talk about shattered glass! :rofl

I'm not even surprised at this point to be quite honest, Khan has made a career out of fighting old and shot fighters with big names like Barrera and Judah. Of course he will use the excuse of beating these 'prime' fighters as a reason not to fight any of the legit top guys in the division Thurman/Brook/Porter because they haven't beaten the 'names' he has.

Whoever Khan fights next be it Mosley/Pac or featherfisted Guerrrero. I hope they shatter that Glass Jaw once again.

Provodnikov is actually a horrible match-up for Khan. He won't have the punching power to stop Ruslan and what has historically happened in fights where Khan has been seen to dominate early, he gets careless and begins to punch with his opponent instead of making them miss and countering. The last thing anyone wants to do at these weights is trade punches with Provodnikov. He had Bradley on ***** street and even Lucas was in survival mode for the final two rounds of their fight last time out.

Amir could win the fight comfortably if he was cautious and disciplined, but I see Provodnikov enjoying success at some point during the fight, and whether or not Amir could stand up to that sort of firepower is still a huge question mark for me. Provodnikov has underrated hand speed, but he's limited due to the fact that he has a terrible habit of advancing with his hands below his chin whilst throwing nothing. Even with his short arms, he should still be jabbing as he closes the distance to offset the opponent, but he doesn't do that, and so he gets peppered coming in.

Super dangerous fight for Khan though. I wouldn't consider a knockout loss an upset by any stretch, not against a guy like Provodnikov.
