Amir Khan vs Ruslan Provodnikov

Mikes a good guy , but a small junior welter ,with a pretty average sets of skills. Ruslan just took advantage of this.

Going live and death with Rios tells me he is a c level fighter.

Khan has beaten better fighters.

 

Imagine Khan trying to keep that siberian monster off him with his mickey mouse punches lol. Prov would walk khan down and put him to sleep.

 

Maidana was actually so patient in the Khan fight he doesnt really come forward like Provodnikov who seems possessed

I think Provodnikov is better techically but Maidana probably hits a bit harder

Either way no way Khan survives 12 rounds ever, Provodnikov throws hard looping shots all fight if one of them lands Khan is not recovering and one will land early

Khan is a far better boxer than Provodnikov, but I just can't see him surviving. Provodnikov is sure to land something at some point and when he does Khan will be in serious trouble.

 

Khan would do him like Maidana

 

Provodnikov will make sure that Khan doesn't survive a round like the one he did survived with Maidana.

 

Have they sparred at the wildcard?

Khan has the tools to UD Ruslan, reach speed and movement

The main reason Khan would not win against Ruslan is that Ruslan is a body snacther and Khan would be broken down, slowed down, and then knocked down and out.

 

I think the Khan back from the Maidana fight would have a small chance.
Khan seems to have regressed a lot since then and i just can not see him survive.

Provodnikov also has a lot better head movement and the ability to cut off the ring than Maidana.
