Amir Khan vs. Samuel Vargas & Jason Welborn vs. Tommy Langford II RBR.

I just don't see where Khan goes next, he is certainly not ready for Pacquaio, Brook or any other top welterweights.

In my honest opinion he looks shot, his punch resistance seems to be completely gone, he has always been a fast starter but tonight that fast start didn't last long, he faded, he ran at times and this was against Sammy Vargas, no disrespect to Vargas but he isn't a world beater.

The interview afterwards was bizarre, saying he wanted the "experience" of going 12 and it was a "flash knock down", with respect Amir, you got up and your legs were like jelly and you were saved by the bell.

If Khan fights Pacquiao he is getting stopped, if he fights Brook he is getting stopped, if he fights Spence Jr he is getting seriously hurt.

I think all Khan can do is work out what is going to best for him financially and sign, if that's Brook then just do it because he is KO waiting to happen.

Personally I'm way past caring about Brook Vs Khan, it's too late on my opinion, both have been damaged but even though he has his face caved in twice Brook looks less damaged.

 

I don't think a Spence or Crawford fight should even be sanctioned. He's get seriously damaged.

Same would happen with Porter, Thurman, Garcia, Kavaliauskas, Lejarraga, etc. Even Broner would score a Brutal KO over him.

 

Why wasn't Yafai's fight aired?

 

He will have take if it if the Pacquiao fight isn’t happening. I have huge doubts that happens as pacquio wants big money.

Re Eubank jnr by the same token you should be calling him the same no?beaten by Saunders and Groves and has never gotten the world title he’s alway wanted,please don’t bring up the IBO.

 

Saunders and Groves are not just World champs, they are very good ones.
The Saunders fight could have gone either way, and Groves had a great game plan.

Tommy is held in a high regard here, quite hilarious really. Especially when blokes like King Khan and Jr get no credit whatsoever.

Oh I didn’t know that,I’d never hold him in high regard it’s just that calling em bums doesn’t sit right with me in a sport that takes a lot of bottle to compete,life threatening and pays little for guys like him.

Just watched the fight. Khan is probably the main fighter today, whose opponents feel they can stand to lose 9 rounds, so as long as they get to land one flush.
