Reportedly in talks for Dubai, on December thirteenth at welterweight.

Mosley will have not made the welterweight limit in 2½ years, since he edged a tight unanimous decision over Pablo Cesar Cano.

There were last talks of Khan vs. Mosley in January of 2012.

What's crazy is that I have no doubt Mosley can probably still make WW. I think Khan dominates him to be quite honest. Shane is shot, the Mayorga fight showed that.

I think Shane might of had a shot a couple of years ago, still would have favored Khan though... Shane has seen better days, at his best he smokes this glass jawed Con man.

    Puncher's chance, though?

PCC is kind of average to be just barely scratching your way past (I had it 115-113 Mosley, same as the judges), but he is also teak-tough. I don't fault Mosley for "only" getting a UD...and he did wobble Cano a few times in the late going.

Of course, that was Mosley's last-known form at WW, in May of 2013.

Who knows if he can replicate even that? Or make welter comfortably, now coming down from middleweight? The loss to Mundine is fairly uninformative given his injury, as is the Mayorga rematch given the fact that Mayorga is shot and semi-retired.

Khan will hit a new low if he actually fights grandpa Mosley who hasn't scored a meaningful win for almost 7 years.

Shane is shot and beginning to show signs of dementia. Khan would hit a new low in my opinion if he fights this version of Mosley.

Most old, faded ATGs always pull off that one miracle win they'll be remembered for......could Khan br Moseleys?

    Hopkins had Pavlik
    Foreman had Moorer
    Holmes had Mercer.

Could Moseley just pull that trigger just once?

It wouldn't have made sense IMO to "duck" Provodnikov for Mosley, so this isn't terribly surprising.

Provodnikov is dangerous as well, and obviously younger and not mostly shot...but I have a hard time picturing him knocking out Mayorga at middleweight. I don't think Provodnikov is MORE dangerous than Mosley for Khan. Both are KO risks.
