Apparently these two have history in the amatuers. I believe Khan could potshot his way to a UD using his hand and footspeed, however if ortiz really hits him flush it could be over very quickly. what do you guys think?

You answered your question. Amir Khan could win if he fights the perfect fight as he has all the tools to beat Ortiz i.e. reach , speed, agility. BUT if he makes a mistake, he could be punished severely. So can't say for sure really, until/if the fight happens.

Anybody who makes a "for sure" prediction must really have little or no boxing knowledge.

Scilent assasin, your a funny guy LoL

    Khan one sided

Did you see what Ortiz did to that very good Greek fighter, who is more expierienced, tested than khan, and also fast. He demolished him! Ortiz at least is close to the top of his division, Khan has fought only a Prospect that Knocked him out and a faded Barrera

Victor Ortiz would have the upper hand on Breidis Presscot, what makes you think that Khan would last three rounds, especialy with that now exposed chin of his. Ortiz is a finisher Man. Yes Marcelo, Ortiz would catch him and early.

lol. it's funny how many people still ride khan's nuts, even after prescott made a fool out of him. i mean khan is ok, but victor ortiz is on another level. Ortiz is riding a jet to superstardom, while khan is taking the train to mediocrity. so ortiz KO's khan.

Key question to an Amir Khan fight:

    Q) Can Ortiz punch? A) YES

    Ortiz by KO

go to the bookies and put ur house on ortiz everytym he fights. I mean your rule sounds flawless. If he can punch = winner.

Have you seen Amir Khan fight ?

The guy fought at lightweight and even then was only ever matched with people coming up from their natural weight class.

How would he stand a chance with a light welterwight that can bang ?!

Khan by UD or late stoppage. I think these two have to fight each other after their next fights as Ortiz is fighting for the interim WBA title and Khan is for the real thing so should see them by the end of the year
