Round 2 Machine gun right jabs by Russell, and then a left uppercut to the body. Russell is delivering brutal hooks to the body with either hand while jerking his shoulders back and tilting his neck to avoid any of the slow counters of Estrada. Lots of body shots landing for Russell. High volume, light speed, and near perfect accuracy. Estrada gets popped with straight, high headshots now and is knocked back a step as his chin is pointed up to the ceiling. Estrada is getting ripped upstairs and downstairs but trying to bob and duck inside and work his own left hooks to the body or drop clubbing overhand rights on the smaller man. Russell's defense is impregnable, a combination of tight guard and great movement (foot, upper body & head). 20-18 Russell Jr.
2 rounds to 0. Russell Jr. Love his hand speed and accuracy. That right hook to the body has been landing consistently. Easy fight to score so far.
Russell looks like a multiple belt future champion. This is the first time I've seen him, but he looks very good.
Round 3 Estrada circles to his right, staying far clear of Russell. Estrada ducks in and holds his upper arm out to catch Russell's flurries. Russell is putting some really nice right hooks on target, starting with rapid flurries to the body before suddenly making his right vanish and reappear on Estrada's left cheek. Estrada circles far away to the ropes and tries to come up with a gameplan. Estrada has switched to southpaw. He gets RIPPED with a six punch combo to the jaw (in half a second) and is physically backed up although he only got touched with the tip end of each shot while leaning and moving away from them. Russell continues to land the counter right hook while coming forward and letting Estrada be the first to open up. 30-27 GR Jr.
Oh man, you've been missing out. He ALWAYS looks this good. :thumbsup He's beaten some halfway decent guys for 16-0, too. Not beaten - thrashed. Like this, sometimes even worse.
