I'd favor Khan. Yeah I'm going out on a limb a bit. But I'd favor Khan in that fight.

This is how the Floyd Khan fight would go Khan flurries Floyd, Floyd repeatly catches him with a sharp counter right on the button, then press repeat for about 10 rounds and finally Khan's mandible gives way and down he goes.

Floyd has a better jab and timing than Khan.

    What happens when Floyd adjusts?

You honestly think Mayweather is gonna try to punch with Khan?

No ****ing way does he do that.

    He'd just shell up.

If he was to win, he'd have to fire first.

He'd have to time khan so well that he'd be hitting Khan with potshots right as he's about to throw. Khans speed is gonna make that very difficult.

    Styles make fights.

Timing negates speed, Floyd has the best timing in the sport.

I think Floyd would be totally unaffected by Khan's punches if he could take Canelo's power and outbox him in the middle of the ring he has nothing to fear from Amir, Khan brings nothing to the table but speed but Floyd is just as quick and will adjust and the sharpness of his counters will eventually start inhibiting Khan from throwing like it has many others in the past.

I wouldn't really say its better because he doesn't use it to setup combinations, but rather to setup ONE straight right to the head or body. Single shots vs Khan is a recipe for disaster. Currently he just pot shots his opponents as he is cherry picking fighters who are slow, flat footed that can be easily out pointed because he's just faster than them.

It's interesting you think Floyd will adjust, you want to elaborate how exactly he will? Will Floyd risk throwing with Khan? Will Floyd try to out point Khan by throwing combos? Floyd is 38, he's slower, he doesn't throw more than 2 punches, his feet are slow and he's become more flat footed, his reflexes are deteriorating. His control of range is not as it used to be because his feet just won't let him do what he wants.

Why do you think Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr, Ricky Hatton, Paulie Malignaggi, Jonny Nelson and so many other boxers think Khan is all wrong for Mayweather at this stage?

If Khan slows down in the latter rounds hes toast.

But the way Mayweather has slowed his opponents in the past is landing at will on them with counters.

With Mosely, he hit him with so many counters that Mosely "couldn't get off anymore" (his words)

I just can't see how Mayweather could possible land that much against Khan. And I believe he won't be able to.

He'll get outworked by Khan to a UD and his only hope would be to stop him with a big shot which I don't think Mayweather has in him.

Maybe he would. Maybe he wouldn't.

Thats what its a good fight.

Wouldn't you want to see it as opposed to him fighting no hopers like Maidana

Khan might outwork Floyd, but he won't outland.

Again, Leonard never said Khan would beat Floyd.
