Amir Khan was awesome on saturday night

kotelnik is a decent fighter but he was made for khan (when he takes a cautious approach). he never had the speed to test jhim


i agree with the rest of your assesment. a lot of khans punches were on the gloves. he was winning rounds by outworking kotelnik not by out boxing him

 

otherwise known as good boxing. Khan can only fight the guy infront of him, if he gets a big name people moan he doesnt deserve the chance , if he fights anyone else people moan that they arnt good opponents - Kotelnik was a world champion, Khan beat him convincingly, what more do you want from the guy?

Kotelnik has the tightest guard of any current boxer imo, his hands were glued to his cheeks, it was very hard for Khan or anyone else to get through that

 

You fight the guy that's put in front of you. It'd be daft to try and knockout the guy who's never been on the floor, what's the point? Win the fight the easiest way you can, and in this case it was by outboxing Kotelnik.

At the end of the day though, the haters will move the goalposts whatever he does. All I'll say is for a featherfisted, hype-job with no head movement and the worst chin in boxing, he's doing pretty well for himself.

 

These new guys know more about boxing then most of you.

Gotta say i was very impressed with khan at the weekend he boxed a great fight,who do u think he should fight next darni

 

He has got a few options, I would go for Salita who I think is Khan mandatory and who has a big Jewish following in New York. Khan could make debut in U.S at MSG. It will give him a chance to also show off some skills as Salita should be a easy first defence.
