I do feel Khan moving to GBP will have more of a say to who he can fight, plus its a co-promotion with his own set up.

Warren as we know picks the fights for his fighters, and protects them.

I think if Khan puts on a good show vs Paulie then he should fight Bradley or Alexander next.

Both are unbeaten and a real test for Khan.

You forget Warren had Maidana ready to sign on the dotted line, and then Khan jumped ship and got his new promoters to pay Maidana to not fight him. Like it or not, that's how it went down.

Whatever you think of the merits of the 2 fighters as Khan opponents, Paulie makes a lot more sense than Maidana as a "coming out" fight for Khan in America.

Thats why Maidana got the step aside money and Paulie got the nod.

Why? As many of you know, JMM is my fave fighter by some distance and I would be cheering him on if he ever faced Khan. I do, however, worry that a bout with Khan wouldn't be a good step for JMM. Khan would have all the advantages over JMM; the weight, height, speed, and a vastly superior reach. All of Khan's advantages at 140 would be too much for JMM and Khan would dance his way to a UD, IMO:-(.

That's Warren's version of the story. Warren knew he was about to lose Khan so decided to put that little chesnut out there as he knew Khan would get stick for it.

You also have to be the most inconsistent person on here; you complain about Khan's level of opposition (all opponents set-up under Warren's tutelage, I'll add), then you act like Warren was going to step his level of oppo up anyway and Khan was wrong for leaving him. Don't you see a glaring inconsistency there?

Khan has been going on record to all the U.S press that he wants to fight anyone at 140 after Paulie.

I dont think he would say that stuff and then not back it up they would rip him up over there after these big claims, even i would lose alot of respect for him if his next fight after Paulie is not a real test.

Not really, that is my point. Warren was about to step up the opposition and put him in with a banger, and then Khan jumped ship. His opposition prior to that had been okay to be fair for what he is. But all this stuff about him having P4P skills because he boxed rings around Andriy Kotelnik is ridiculous.

It does take a leap of faith to believe that Warren was about change the habit of a lifetime and put his cash cow with chin issues in with a known banger.

Warren is always ABOUT TO do something when a fighter leaves him. He was ABOUT TO put Hatton in with Zab Judah. He was ABOUT TO something for Joe Calzaghe.

Who the **** are you talking to you little ***** ?

I know FOR A FACT that Warren had two fights lined up for Khan - Maidana and then if he came through that, Bradley.

    And that is a FACT
