Amir Khan is one of my favorite fighters in the sport by far. I highly respect his competitive spirit, I think he's very skilled and most of the time makes for an exciting fight. If it wasn't for his chin he probably would have been a better position in the sport for a while now.

With all that said here is why he won't beat devon alexander. Throughout Amir Khans entire career he has always taken build up fights that put him towards the top of the mountain in boxing...

    Malignaggi
    Zab
    Molina
    Diaz
    Collazo
    Barrera

then once he gets close to the top of the mountain he always seems to stumble back down.

    Lamont Peterson
    Danny Garcia
Marcos Maidana (yes he beat maidana but was a very debatable victory)

I think this fight will be just like the other fights of the past, Amir always starts off these fights looking good and fighting great then eventually makes some mistake that sets him back and sends him back down the mountain.

I don't know how Devon Alexander will win but I expect that he will win this fight.

based on your logic he'll beat alexander whose not exactly top of the mountain, then lose to mayweather?

don't think theres too much debate with the Maidana fight in all honesty, he was well ahead on the cards before the 10th and won a unanimous decision.

Khan got robbed against Peterson.. watched the fight 2 times and still don't see how Khan didn't get the decision even with the point deduction.

As for Maidna, that was a clear UD over Maidana, no controversy whatsoever. Clear victory for Khan.

Loss to lamot peterson? He beat lamot peterson lol. OK...let's say petersons home town judges decides to rob khan on the scorescards, then all you have to do is take away the clear 2 point home-town deduction (pushing) and khan wins.

I tip Alexander to beat Khan in a close fight. Khan is not the superior boxer he's made out to be. He has fast hands, and that's about it.

If only boxing worked that way... Stupid post. back it up with proper reasoning not just a ****ing hunch.

I actually very much favor Khan in this fight. He'll beat Alexander to the punch and ultimately rush Alexander which is something he doesn't like to do.

mayweather is at the peak of the mountain with pacquiao. Khan can't even get that high, he gets to the higher levels but will always get kicked back down, unfortunately.

he didn't beat lamont peterson though, that's the thing. Maybe it was a bad decision but at the end of the day he didn't pull it out. Floyd had a draw score card vs canelo but he dominated so much that he took the judges out of the equation. Khan isn't good enough to do something like this.

it's not stupid logic. Khan is a great fighter but just can't get past the hump, he hasn't in the past and he won't vs alexander.
