Zapp hasn't fought anyone near the class of Khan or his opponents...

Exactly. It would be an absolute mismatch at this point. He would have a punchers chance, which is slim at best.

Khan does have a glass jaw, its a shame because he has speed, talent, variety offensively , a lot of heart but no chin and a shoddy defense. His chin is made to look worse 'possibly' as he takes his shots flush, he does not roll with them or take any of their sting out of them. The ko loss may be a blessing as he will now have to adjust his style to hide his flaws.

Joe Calzaghe has been floored in his last 2 fights. This in my opinion is a sign he is aging, not a sign that he has aglass jaw. He was down twice prior to that in how many world title fights ? The first time against Byron Mitchell when he got up and stopped him in the same round. The second against ... name escapes me ....... Egyptian guy maybe in a fight that he was plainly bored to be there in.

Lacy, Kessler, Reid could all bang. And i don't mean like Otkke i mean really bang. Bang so hard Mandy would fight like Forrest Gump, but with less heart, like hedid against Kessler. Mandy is a tank an Italian tank , one forward gear 10 reverse gears.

Froch would stop Mundine. Or chase him all around the ring.

Sorry Australia your fighters are not top drawer right now, or ever.

I totally agree with everthing you just stated APART from the last line , Despite its low population & geographical location Australia has produced a steady line of fighters that could hang with the worlds VERY BEST on occasions . Mandy knows this and his actions in recent years have pissed all over that great tradition , this is why i see dyed in the wool Aussie fight fans give him so much abuse , the man had a god given talent but chose to spunk it all away for cash , His Choice ? Well of course is was but its not the point . :deal

I was only teasing guys. Mundine is a big disappointment in boxing terms, he has all the raw ability in the world and has opted for cash. When he is an old man he and his family wont be broke unlike many boxers so he aint dumb.

When i said top drawer i meant real elite, Fenech was. But Fenech was never undisputed champ. He was great but there are questions unanswered about him. Tszyu i don't class as an Aussie, but was a great fighter. But those 2 apart there are not any others i would consider toip drawer.

Amir Khan will not be a top fighter, Prescott aside, he got hurt by Limond and Gomez, one was no hitter , the other was 6 years past his best and fighting outside his weight class. Gomez also hutrt him bad to the body so holding his hands high will only solve half the problem. He will need to win his fights for every second of every minute of every round, because when he gets hit hard he is gonna go.

What are the unanswered questions about Fenech?

Never going undisputed , not saying i don't 'think' he was the best at a weight at a time, but he never cleaned up and answered all challenges, so that always leaves a doubt. Thats true for 99% of champs, so not an insult. But unanswered questions none the less.
A fun fighter to watch though and he could probably have made mini flyweight if his balls weren't so big. Liked listening to him in the corner of your guy who got ko'd by Jones in the hands behind his back move, encouraging him to throw shots he said ' the worst thing that can happen is you get knocked out so throw punches'
Back to fenech, the unanswered questions is the curse of the WBC,WBA,IBF,WBO etc etc etc its too common for champs to never unify even a portion. So fans can think their champ is number 1 but cannot know for sure. I knew De La Hoya was too big and too skilled for Pacquiao, i knew Hatton would go down from Tszyu's first big right hand , but the fights proved me wrong.
So Amir Khan may win multiple world titles ( he may not ) but never be a real world champ, or even recognised as number 1 in his division, worse still may not even be thought of as top 5 in his division, but will still be called a champ.

I dont think there were any unanswered questions, he was a great fighter. He won belts in 3 divisions and should have been 4 except for the robbery against Nelson. He fought some great fighters and was a first ballot hall of famer.

How this means there are some unanswered questions about him is ridiculous. :-(

He was never undisputed champion, so other guys at the same time in the same weight class walked around saying they were the best. Jeff never proved them wrong and vice versa. I think he would have in some cases, but we cannot know. So what does this mean ? In an era of one title at each weight class Jeff Fenech may just have been a contender.

He was robbed against Nelson the first time, you probably thought he would set the record straight in the rematch. Nelson knocked him out. Proving my point, there are always questions. Unless you are undisputed champ there will always be some, some people think Calzaghe would have lost to Ottke.

So it might be ridiculous to you to say there are unanswered questions about fenech, but you cannot prove he was the champ in any division at any time in his career, just one of the champs.

So is Vic Darchinyan not an elite fighter... If so how the hell did he manage to dominate and knockout a top 10 p4p fighter in Mijares?

In regards to Fenech, your making yourself look really stupid again. The guy was a 3 (should have been four) weight division world champion. The difference between him and Calzaghe is that Fenech moved divisions, to take on bigger tests. Where as a guy like Calzaghe stayed around fighting the Byron Mitchell's of the world.
