Na im fine teke, im just a little down atm so i havent got the desire to fight.

Id still like Zappas chance against Kahn, mainly due to the chin of Kahn, it almost brings them on level par imo.

But Kahn is a great boxer, maybe too slick and smooth from most other young guys.

The only problem with this statement is a bloke like Calzaghe started at a high weight like SMW. Apart from going to light heavy the bloke aint big enough to keep going....... i.e Heavyweight

When it comes to smaller fighters like Pac Man, Fenech, Mosley etc, it's easier to go up in weight because generally they fill out as they get older.

More criticism shld be given to a boxer like Kostya then Calzaghe, as he stayed at 140lbs.

Vic is not Australian is he ? I thought , and correct me if i am wrong, that he emigrated there.

In regards Fenech he was a 3 and should have been 4 weight belt holder, not world champion, if you don't understand the difference it could be you who is stupid.

The fact he is a lock for the IHOF does not mean there are unanswered questions. The fact there are unanswered questions does not mean he is not a great fighter.

List the other champions, it's not really a who's who of legends unless you count Joey Gamache as one...

Why does it need to be a credible opponent ? Calvin Grove knocked him out.

If Tyson had never fought Douglas no one would be saying he would have lost to him.

No one would have tipped Phillips to beat Tszyu.

It does not have to be anyone favoured to beat him, he was never THE world champion, he was a title holder and a damn good one.

Was he the best at bantamweight ? Would he have taken Nelson at Featherweight ? Nelson and himself only went to Super Feather after Chavez moved up, would he have beaten Chavez ? He only gave Nelson problems in the first fight because of malaria, a fit but unfavoured Nelson creamed him in Melbourne.

FACT is he never went undisputed

If you believe Nelson was really suffering from Malaria in the first fight, I have some land that I'd like to sell you in the middle of this country...

ha ha. Still he got mauled and ko'd by him in the rematch by a fighter unrecognisable to the man he met in the first fight. And Calvin Grove ko'd him too, thats like getting knocked out by Malignaggi.

Amir is much closer to 5'10 than 5'7.

As to the guy who says fighters should jump weight classes to prove themselves, the flip side of that coin is that fighters can jump weight classes to avoid fighters. Any fighter who stays a decade in his weight class as a champion has to fight the best contenders, the only other fighters that can be avoided are the other champions as they don't become a mandatory. At the end of the day anyone with even a basic boxing knowledge can see through how many titles a guy one or how many defences and realise its who was beaten that matters. And of course going undisputed means a lot too !

Khan will, in time, establish himself as a top notch fighter. needs some more experience, but will not make the mistake of undersestimating opponents ever again.
