This has been around on numerous threads why Khan didn't rematch Prescott, stupid comparison. The key word in that sentence REMATCH, in the worst case even if Khan was ducking Prescott at least he had already fought him once, can you say the same about Bradley?
So a guy who's pretty dam sure he can hang with Manny Pacquiao is scared that he will lose to Amir Khan ?? , is that what your saying :huh Look ..................... i agree with what your saying about Bradley and fighting Khan before the switch , and i was at the time lambasting him on here for it , but lets not forget Khan was offered Bradley and numerous other top JrWW's when he decided Paul McCloskey was the chosen one !!!!! Im not defending what Tim Bradley done , as a fan its bad for us , we lose , we don't get the fights we want regularly enough based on the sort of money being wafted around Pacquiao and Mayweather , Tim Bradley is the one who has benefited from his choices , he's the one sitting at home now a multi millionaire with a rematch in the fall , and who better to look out for Tim Bradley than Tim Bradley right ??? I mean is the concept so difficult for people in this forum to deal with
I commend Bradley on his financial decision he played it very smart. However it was more than clear that he had some sort of doubt that Khan would beat him and cost Bradley the PAC fight.
risk reward stupid to think bradley fights khan for 1.5 or pac for 6m gtfo, no one works for less ask your boy khan
If you replaced the word " would " with " could " id half entertain the concept , knowing what we know about Tim Bradley , i could never accuse him of ducking Amir Khan , sorry , its not true , opting not to fight him for financial gain , and standing in the sport i.e. legacy , yes !!! , ducked him no !!!
I agree and I have to take my hat off for his financial decision, but he ducked Khan before the fight was even a certainty. You make it sound like the PAC fight was in the bag when he refused to fight Khan.
I'm sorry but if you don't accuse him then it doesn't change a thing, the reason why it is a duck is because the PAC fight wasnt even close at the time. This was a time when fans laughed at the thought of PAC-Bradley. IF the fight was a certainty and he refused to fight Khan I would back you on this one.
Grants as tough as they come but your right, you cant beat big brother, that time in the arches i let him do that to me, if i'd fought back it's have been a hell of a scrap but i'd come out on top in the end
Again , lack of depth of knowledge in the subject Bradley was " promised " Pacquiao by Bob Arum , there was no specific timeline given , but he was told he would fight Manny Pacquiao if he left Gary Shaw promotions and joined Top Rank Promotions , then think about the sweetener involved in such an agreement , plus that he fought a shot Featherweight to keep him somewhat fresh and relevant and more importantly to Arum undefeated , for over a million i imagine , given he was on a Pacquiao undercard Then consider the clause in Gary Shaw's contract with Bradley , if Bradley opts to fight under the Gary Shaw banner during the last 6 months of his contract , he has to by contractual obligation re sign with Gary Shaw for another six months , thats another six months on top of his " then " current contract But people tend to forget minor details such as these and claim Bradley ducked Khan GTFOH :deal
I bet Khan wishes he got the Bradley fight. He would have beaten that Bradley yesterday. Less fire power than pac but he works at a higher volume.
he had a good start and a decent finish, round by round pacquiao killed him, close but clear? bradley lost and it wasnt even close
