His and Porter's fights at 147 aren't - collectively speaking - really that much different in class. Especially considering one has been fighting there a long longer than the other.

The Algeri fight was a fight he really didn't need and he looked less than stella did more harm then good. Then he just seems to have been waiting to be given a fight. A 147 there are load of big pay days yet he just seems to want either Floyd or Manny.

With all the flying about between the US and ****stan I can see his career not lasting much longer..maybe hes lost focus or found something else in life other than boxing.

If Brook wants Khan then he needs to fight GGG and Canelo, #EarnIt.

Does anyone else just feel Khan has fallen out of love with the fight game? Seems to be looking for big pay days rather than wanting to build on his career. But he started pretty young and has probably peaked already. Pity really, he's got a great skill-set (whiskers apart) and plenty of heart in the ring, but just doesn't seem to have the appetite for the sacrifices needed to stay at the top.

    :lol:we got another one here

Please elaborate on this great skill set

The myth as been debunked fast hands does not mean you have a great skill set

OK well I'll take 'fast hands' for starters.... thanks for agreeing that particular asset is indeed 'great'. I agree with you, he has fast hands. He also is a great combination puncher which when combined with his fast feet makes/made him a formidable opponent - probably best illustrated in his fight with Kotelnik. He's at his best when he keeps fights at 'range' - well moving in and out of range and snipping to be precise - but is also good on the inside with hurtful body punches (Zab Judah KO being a case in point although the punch was borderline to say the least. And the knock down of Maidana is another example).

He's also got great 'heart' despite his weak chin, as seen while being battered around the ring in the 10th by a renowned puncher like Maidana and yet holding on for the win. So fast hands, good combos, fast feet and good movement, solid inside work and a great fighting spirit.... that adds up to a great skill set for me. If you don't agree, fine.

Do I think he's a great boxer? Ultimately, no because the weak link in the chain - his chin - is very weak indeed. But I stand by my assertion regarding the tools he takes to work.

You know, failing to see the shades of grey between the extreme polemics often evidenced on message boards such as this, only exposes a paucity of thinking and objectivity. My conclusion - your skill-set needs some working on, old bean.

You mean jittering in and out like a kangaroo it was getting old and this is because he can't get drawn into wars

Combinations lol the same rinse and repeat formation just go and look where he threw the uppercut from in the garcia fight :rofl

Fast feet you mean them things that put himself off balance consistently but if you say so

And khan good on the I side now I know your full of sh it laughable
    :hi: old fart

Many threads debunking your claims in afraid he'll even khan himself stated I did not understanding boxing that's what Virgil is teaching me now timing distance defence balance working inside his own words but if you say otherwise well

Look are you going against what khan himself said

    Footwork- needs major work
    Defence needs major work
He ain't throwing the same flurry combos as he used to as people worked him out
Fast feet put him off balance more often than not was there for all to see
    No inside game none
    No ring IQ cannot adjust
No power other fighters have stated you can walk him down
Glaring flaws even the blind could see
So we are back to fast hands :think
And no he as not fallen out of love making good money he as been found out by most top level fighters so now he as to tread carefully

Floyd Mayweather ducked Khan. Pac ducked Khan. Andre Berto gtfo. Khan has 20 X the fan base at least than Berto and brought a lot more money to the table. But Floyd ducked Khan

The both know Khan has the speed and style and upset them.

If you actually look at Khan, you'll see he has glaring flaws.

He has poor defense, throws himself off balance, throws sloppy combinations (He has one of the sloppiest 1-2s I've ever seen), doesn't look good on the back foot, and has no inside game.

Amir did fight Collazo and Alexander both at 147, both are much superior than all the tomato cans that Brook has been 'defending' his title against. In fact, Brook has made a career fighting bums, Porter is the only quality opponent on his resume.

Yes, Khan wasted too much time chasing Pacquiao and Mayweather.
