Amir Khan's Announcement - Amir Khan vs Adrien Broner

Not a bad fight.
Khan UD on SHO that only 800k tune into.

 

Khan featherdusts him at will until Broner hurts and stops him... I actually think it's 50/50-ish that Broner pulls that off in the second half of the fight but if I'm making my prediction, yeah, I'll probably ride with that. When Broner gets discouraged, he loses well before the final bell. That won't be the case for him with Khan.

I hope this fight happens. It's like a slightly better version of Ortiz vs. Alexander in that the loser can fall off quite a bit to irrelevancy and the winner actually deserves to move on up the ladder.

 

This is the first fight that I will pray for a double KO. I think Broner can pull it off if he becomes the bully he was back at 135. If he comes in here and shoulder rolls one time Khan will light him up with jabs.
Haymon is finally making his guys fight 3 years too late, just imagine the hype this would have gotten in 2013 or 2014.

 

If this comes off I heavily favor Khan. Who knows if he's rusty or worn at this point but his style is a nightmare for Broner, who is flat-footed and not that great of a counter-puncher. That said he does have a decent counter left hook and good power so he can time Khan and hurt him, I expect him to have his moments but I don't think it will be enough to save him from a loss.

Terrible management on Broner's team's part, he's talented enough to work his way back into the mix but instead of taking a tune-up and building back some confidence and making some stylistic tweaks, he jumps right back into a potential loss which won't do his unstable mental health any good.

Good fight. Broner is too slow footed for Khan.
Remember this is a guy who had trouble with a semi shot powder fisted Mallinaggi.
But dude is tough. Khan by UD unless he got too greedy and get clocked.

 

Please, brutal double KO of such savagery both retire afterwards and we never hear from them again.

 

he is giving Broner a great opportunity. Khan does not have a chin. I can see Broner win, and Broner is not that good.

 

This is actually a great fight, two guy's with big names for all the wrong reasons, Both entertaining for all the wrong reasons too, I hope this is true and actually happens.

 

Will be great due to the fact both have become deluded journeyman, both with odious characters who deserve to fall into irrelevance

Yep. Broner throws about 10 punches a round so purely on volume loses.

 

Yeah but Pauli is a better boxer than Khan. Khan has speed sure but Peterson showed if you get into his rhythm you can time Khan.
