They ****ed over Harrison badly, but Warren just got a taste of what hes been doing to people for years.
Warren made Khan a millionaire and got him a title shot two or three fights after Prescott. Warren then had to find out on the news that Khan had dropped him and signed with GBP. There is a way to do things and neither Khan or his team do things properly.
Yeah, you're right. I should be use to it by now on ESB. As for Khan, I'm beginning to wish he loses his next fight. If he's too naive to realize his management are making decisions which could be detrimental to his career, then he needs another wake-up call.
LMAO at Warren claiming he was unaware of being dropped Khan Promotions was set up before the Salita fight. And Warren has a history of complaing when all his fighters leave him incl Calzaghe, Naz, Hatton etc
Khan didn't 'drop' him. Khan came to the end of his contract with him, and chose not to renew. Yes, he could have done it in a more appropriate manner - actually telling Warren face-to-face that they're not going to remain with him. But it's not like Khan ****ed him over by leaving midway through a signed contract. Anyway, wasn't Khan bashed left right and centre by British fans for being with a protective promoter like Warren? Weren't they demanding him to leave and speed up his career? So now that he's done that with GBP, he's ungrateful?
A bit harsh, Rico :huh There has been plenty of cases of this stuff happening. Fighters leave Trainers/Conditioners all the time, even when they're on a great streak, it happens. What happened is wrong, and yes, Khan is the one who should step up, but for whatever reason, he isn't. Maybe he won't be in shape and will realise that in his fight and then react, but I think saying losing his next fight over a little dispute over a Conditioning Coach is a bit far.
Laz, conditioning coach or not, that isn't the problem. The problem is that he's surrounded by a team who are prepared to get rid of things which are beneficial to his development, all for the sole purpose of saving money. This mentality has been reflected in his recent struggles in finding a new opponent. He's suppose to be heading out for training next week, and he still doesn't know who he's fighting? I mean what's next, no more Freddie Roach because he charges too much?
One big problem is Freddie Roach does not take drama queens, nor does he take bull****. If they start ****ing with him or anything he's really involved with, then Team Khan KHAN kiss their asses goodbye. Freddie got his plate full with or without Khan.
Yeah right. He's a ****ing ******* like on this video where he personally apologizes for ***** Alex Ariza's disrespectful behaviour. Is this how low class thugs look like where you come from? That's an awesome place then. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulWYVoEjT9g[/ame]
I honestly don't believe it's solely based on Money. I mean, they've had him for what? 6 fights and they've paid him just fine. Something substancial must have happened for them to break into Ariza's room to steal a contract. When Saj, his friend was getting tweeted about it, he said that people were blaming it on Team Khan and laughing it off. He said the truth would come out eventually. I'm not suddenly believing Saj, but really, he can afford to spend tens of thousands on a freakin' watch, but not pay the guy who wins him the Money? :huh I have my doubts. There's more to it than we know, in my opinion.
