    F*ck Sky.

They show Haye-Harrison and prospects fight DeGale-Groves on PPV but they refuse to show the unficiation fight of Khan-Judah for regular Sky Sports.

    It's personal alright.

Well dont try and play games with the biggest sports broadcaster in Europe then.

This whole mess could of been avoided if Khan would of just went on SS3 for the McCloskey fight.

Sky promoted the fight, spent a heap of money on 'Behind the Ropes' and then Khan goes to primetime. It it was me at Sky I wouldnt be getting him back either.

Maybe someone can help me here. A few months ago I was watching one of these Elie Sechback pieces and he was interviewing a guy called Billy Keane. He introduced him as "Amir Khan`s manager" and this guy Keane just nodded and answered the questions, stuff about Amir`s prospects in America etc. "ah" I say to myself, "Khan`s got an American manager now" so I check out Billy Keane on google and I find he`s a kind of business manager for Freddie Roach and he also manages Penelosa and Andrei Arlovski. Then I go back to try to check stuff on the Sechback vid and I find its been taken down and a few days after that I hear that Sechback has been barred from The Wildcard Gym. Now I here that the Scotch kid, Craig McEwan, has just sacked Keane as his manager too so he`s obviously involved in The Wildcard in some way. But I`ve been checking around and I can`t find anything else about his relationship with Khan. Does anyone else know? Why would they want to keep something like that quiet?

Khan ****ed up a perfect relationship with sky for a few dollars more. Typical ****stani cab drivers went for the short term more money option instead of thinking Long term.

Well at least sky have more money in the boxing budget to cater for froch v ward. Froch earned his ppv deals the hard way.

Khans team need to take a step back and be more humble in their promotion of amir.

It's a wonder Khan is as good a kid as he is with the people that surround him. I mean he comes out with some absolute shite quite frequently, i.e. 'he's never fought anyone as good as me' as recently as last week. But its more naivety and not being too bright. He's essentially a good mannered kid.

The volume of ******s in Team Khan is quite staggering. It leaves me somewhat disillusioned and makes him hard to get behind. Nevertheless its best to just ignore them. Hopefully he'll do the business in this fight and I think he will personally.

I'll be honest, he's wound me up something chronic.

Without trying to sound racist these people typify most members of the ****stani community I have come to have known. Essentially greedy, money driven people with very little class. Or at least what we perceive to be class.

It's a shame because, as one poster here points out, Khan comes across pretty well at times and could be fairly likable and a decent sell. Not with these people on board I'm afraid, in fact not even with half his 'fan base' judging by a load of the tweets I got back when I criticised Amir!!

All I got back were loaded replies that I had to choose my words carefully in reply in order not to sound racist.

'Do I not care that he won a medal for England?' was one reply.... Where to start with that! 'he's clearly the best fighter in the country' was another. It went on for quite a while but yeah, pointless really, I'll not bother again.

The problem is, there is a significant number of hateful posts/tweets where people just hate on khan because of his ethnicity or religion. So the problem his nut huggers have is that every time they see some criticism of team khan they always go into defensive mode and automatically assume it's some racist turd.

Even if the critical is legit they'll call it racial bias because that's what theyre use to. In some ways it probably helps motivate khan a bit like how eubank used to soak up the hate. I'm sure what held khan up against maidana in round 10 had a lot to do with all his haters taunting him and he showed great will and resolve to come through that without even taking a knee

isn't this team khan thing a bit of a smoke screen for the cultural thing where the family looks after each other? a bit like the most successful family member buys the biggest house they can afford in order for the whole family to live in it.
also presumably khan has seen all the shysters there are in pro boxing and would prefer to trust his family to look after his interests?
okay they look like a bunch of plonkers sometime but at the end of his career khan is likely to have more money in his/ the family bank account than if he'd signed up with a Don King character.
the shame of it is; many of us would love someone to bring sky down a peg or 2, khan has tried to do it for the wrong reasons and looks like he'll suffer for it, so leaving sky in an even stronger position
