Is it really as bad as people say? Garcia punched him in the neck, and Limond shoved him down. Maidana is a good puncher, and he didn't knock him out. I think it's more of his defense being poor than his chin.

khan's chin is ****. it is what it is. the kid has a lot of heart and does have skill (though a lot of amateur flaws as well) but he can't take a punch. i mean he will fight anyone and that has to be respected. maidana's power is overrated but he can still crack and khan was hurt pretty bad in that fight.

broner is going to clown maidana too btw.

It's clearly bad. Along with a predictable style and poor defence it's a recipe for disaster. He's been KO'ed and dropped enough times now to confirm his fragility.

His chin is poor but he took Maidana's best shots so sometime it holds up,everytime Khan fights there is always the risk of him being knocked out, most exciting fighter in boxing..

If Maidana could place his shots, he would of knocked Khan spark out, probably would do if they fought now under Robert Garcia.

Khan's chin is poor, lets be honest.

How Khan survived that round when Maidana hit him flush I'll never know... alot of refs would of stopped the fight though.

Khan can take a punch ok when he sees it coming. Khans problem is that he can't take a punch which he can't see coming.... like every other fighter.. HOWEVER

the thing which makes Khan different to everyone else is the punches which he cant see coming are always thrown when he is throwing himself... So NO! Khan can not improve his defence because he CAN'T defend and attack at the same time.. He's not like Wlad who throws single shots... he punches in bunches.

His power just isnt respected enough and people now know to take risks against khan because of this... I honestly feel like hes done at the top level as a fighter. Thats why hes trying to cash out against Mayweather as soon as he can.

Big heart but a glass jaw.. he runs in and gets caught so.he makes it worse for himself.

Craig Watson made him do the chicken dance in the amateur ABA's
Super featherweight Micheal Gomez knocked him down
    Willie Limomd had him down
    Breidis Prescott knocked him out
    Danny Garcia knocked him out
    Julio Diaz knocked him down

    Too much of a coincidence.

  11. lol, the poor defense excuse. I've watched Amir Khan since he was getting floored by Bolton cab drivers every fortnight on national television and I 100% know for a fact that his chin is late 16th century ming dynasty china.

  12. Not so bad like Wawrzyk's but still bad.

Great point, he may have a weak chin but he gets in there with some big punchers and is never in a dull fight.

Despite his losses, he is still a big draw. Which is hard to be these days with dumb arse fans thinking being undefeated make you a great fighter and a loss means you are pretty much written off!

    Anyway...

He can take a shot he sees coming it seems, it's the ones he can't see that seem to knock him out, which to me is perfectly normal in boxing.

Joe Cortez's disgraceful refereeing saved Khan from being sparked by Montana.
