Amir has the elite skills, but he needs to get more experience to use them right.

i actually think, that his chin, is what sometimes, makes him look "stupid"

The awareness he has, when it comes to his chin, will often make him hesitant. That could easely be the reason, for him looking, less technical correct.

the thing about boxing is, that either you do it all the way and correctly or you dont. IF you sometimes hesitate, its easy to look foolish.

Amazingly skillful. You don't become the 2nd best amateur in the world at 17 unless you are extremely skillful

San Rafael off the deep end again. :patsch

Instead of berating everyone else's ideas of what a "skilled boxer" is, why doesn't he just tell us?

Offensively i think he is very good, defensively he hasn't been too great. Although the two are linked, throwing shots will leave you open. Now he is picking his shots better keeping his hands up and therefore leaving himself less open.

So on a whole his skill is good but not elite, but all the potential is there.

Everyone contradicts everyone, to me its abit of both......you normally are as good as you're last performance although to have to skill in the first place to pull it off. Look at ODLH's last performance, it wasn't great was it. Even tho once upon a time he was great he isn't now is he.

Then theres SSM, look at his last performance it's put him right back up there. Obviously as you said 'you're only as good as you are' so SSM always had the skills, but you have to produce it on a given day. RJJ was good 10 years back, not so good now. It goes on an on.

Boxing fans can be very childish, everyone wants to get one up on each other. 'I have more boxing knowledge than you', 'no i do', 'no you don't' lol. Why can't ppl make their points like adults, i haven't the greatest boxing knowledge, does that mean i am not entitled to an opinion.

    - Still has no inside game, most of his punches are straight, not much in the way of hooks. Doesn't go to the body.

+ Amazing handspeed and jab. Improving head and lateral movement

when a fighter has a Glass Jaw as bad as Khan's all the skill in the world does not matter. He will continue to get brutally KOed as long as he keeps fighting.
