He's not that good anyway. Wouldn't suprise me if he couldn't make the GB team. Regardless, if he chooses to box for Pakistan, he won't have a career in Britain.

Damn good point so lets take it on a little bit further. He wins a gold. Can he then honestly start wrapping himself in a Union Jack to win over the Britsh fans?It is a sad but true fact that there is a lot of very bad goings on between muslims and non muslims over here and this would make it almost untenable. In fact i think he would do to be very careful about going down this route.

not too sure about that, boxing for Canada didn't stop Lewis from having a career in Britain.

Umm because fans tend to relate to boxers from the country they reside in!! Of their own nationality! This does seem to be the norm, would you not agree? I am struggling to accept that bearing in mind who his brother is,the fact that he would get **** loads of media attention and that he boxed for a country that lets say isnt exactly top of most peoples xmas card list, that you dont see how people may not like it.

It might be an issue for the small minded idiots who think that any boxer has to drape themselves in the ****ing Union Jack to be accepted by the fans!!If he wants to represent Pakistan so what, who are you to say he shouldn't do it?And do I really need to explain to you who would be offended by the Union Jack??
