Like I said before putting aside my love for Mayweather's skills I actually believe they have taken Khan for a ride. It's sad really.

They let themselves be taken for a ride by playing the waiting game. Should have signed to fight Alexander and this wouldn't even be a discussion right now.

Instead, Amir Khan decided to party it up and do lines of cocaine expecting a 7 figure payday that was never coming. I do not feel bad at all for him.

When you act like a slut then you get treated as one and Khan's laid it low and spread it wide for Floyd and Floyd's used and abused him .

    Pathetic stuff really..

Don't feel bad at all. If there's a contract, hy no fight? I smell bull****.

He could easily have fought Alexander.

Khan should stop with the constant whining.
If he doesn't get his big paycheck with Mayweather this time, he'll probably still get one later after Floyd makes quick work of Maidena.

Khan probably did sign a contract, but Mayweather didn't.

It actually turns out to be another clever piece of self-promotion for Floyd. Turning a routine choice of his next opponent into a day-time TV drama has generated more publicity for Floyd.

Since Floyd does not have the style to actually interest the public in his fights, he must generate interest in his fights some other way: by bragging about his O, acting like a douchebag, fighting great white hypes, fighting Mexicans on Cinco de mayo, staging phony pre-scripted temper tantrums with Larry Merchant or his father, etc., etc.

It's clear by now that most people buy his fights hoping to see him lose, so the whole Khan thing will only generate more revenue for his fights.

So there was no contract then?

A contract is a legally binding agreement between two parties, one party agreeing to it does not make it a contract.

I don't know if there was or not, but Khan says he signed one so I assume he did and Mayweather didn't... Otherwise I'm sure we'd be hearing about a breach of contract suit being filed.

Although I do consider myself a Khan fan, I do wish he would've gone out there and "earned" his shot. If he's been in the gym, getting ready for Mayweather like he said he has....he should be in prime condition for whoever he fights. I think he should go after Porter, although his rushing style could frustrate Khan since he doesn't like to fight inside. But I would like to see him in there for a title shot.

Sorry if I seemed snippy! The breach of contract aspect is specifically what I'm getting at. If there was a contract, the fight would be happening.

To suggest there is one is a bit of ****-stirring from Khan's team.

In all fairness Khan deserved this, he was ready to lick Floyds as* for this fight, now try to earn it!

FFS. Of course you're told not to enter into any other contract in the middle of negotiations. If you do as your told in the middle of the negotiation process you're screwed. Find another agent, manager or whatever. They got taken.

They probably thought Broner was gonna beat Maidana so they were gonna fight Khan then Broner

Either way Khan can easily get the September fight, he just has to beat someone good at 147 which isnt happening
