Why not?, he might have gotten one loss but that doesn't mean that he's done with. I don't understand why some fans treat one loss as it's all over, he can still come back, his head wasn't chopped off during that fight nor were his arms. Hopkins lost his very first fight and look where he reached after it, same for Margarito and many others. I know his loss was brutal and in 52 seconds but he can still come back from it, only future fights can prove otherwise.
I have nothing against losses, everybody losses sooner or later but it's the way he lost that refflects his cocky attitude, glass chin and all.He will be back but not at a top level,he will be like a David Reid or a Graham Earl
He'll take an easy fight like he always does. Don't forget Prescott was supposed to be an easy fight too!
I think this has more to do with the fact that Khan has shown he has no Chin. ZERO. Hopkins and others could come back because they have solid Chins Khan has one of the worst Chins in recent memory.
As I said we will never know till we see him fight more, I just hope he doesn't fall into the Audley Harrison category, if that's the case then you were better at guessing it. About his attitude, he was never cocky if you have seen enough of him. If anything it was him trying to entertain the fans by opening up just for the sake of putting on a good show and entertaining the public for the money they spent getting the tickets and time behind the TV. It's only typical and expected to see people bash on him now that he lost and show no appreciation.
Can't disagree there, if you can't take a punch then going far in boxing will be extremely difficult unless you have insane skills and movement, even if you do you are still bound to get caught sooner or later.
Gomez had a lot more to say than just "I will KO him", he had his share of trash talking as well during the press conference.
He could say no to that bull**** if he would have some caracterbut......The ****ing PPV was named KHAN .That's actually pretty funny
As I said, it's your management that sets up such stuff, you thought he will tell them "Please no, let's just promote it with me sitting on a chair with a tissue paper in one hand to look humble for the dear fans"? His management asked him to do that and he did, he focuses on one thing and that's training in the gym, the rest is his management. Just like the decision to pick Prescott was.
