It is. He put Maidana down on a body shot to the liver which can put anyone down if landed right, and Zab....Well. Thats Just Zab Being Zab.
Amir Khan doesn't have much to offer, he will be exposed soon unless his management keeps him away from danger..
Step 1. Clear mind of all thoughts. Step 2. Take a deep breathe. Step 3. Read again. If this does not work, Step 4. Phone the ******ed hotline.
What I meant was, I don't see his fans, or anyone else, boasting about his power or anything. It seems like you've just got that Maidana knockdown in your head, and because you don't think he had the right to do that (in other words, you didn't think was capable of it), you have to believe his power is overrated. Like I said - it's in your head. For the record, he has pretty good pop when he sits down on his punches. He's not feather-fisted by any means.
I think the speed is what throws his opponents off. Malignaggi is usually iron chinned but he couldn't cope with the speed and accuracy. Salita didn't even see the punch that dropped him coming. Speed kills.
I agree. Peterson's very resilient as the fight goes on (reminds me of JMM). He'll make it hard for anyone to KO him.
Khan's power is underrated* don't you mean? Had zab swollen by round 2 Peterson's face all swollen Maidana bodyshot... He is not that powerfull... But packs more of a punch than people expect Zab underrated his power and payed for it... Khan won't KO peterson because he is a tough mofo (never been ko'ed)... Ortiz couldn't do it..and he has power...
As others have said, nobody overrates his power and touts him as a knockout artist or monstrous puncher, and the fact his power is at least respectable has been proven.
