Amir khan's style was tailor made to take floyd apart

Khan lost far too many fights, he had massive holes in his game.

 

Only on ESB does Khan trouble Floyd. I swear if he never fought Gatti half the posters here would start threads saying he's a bad match up for Floyd.

 

I agree Khan sat out too much and should of stayed more active at 147, he did think it would land on his lap due to his star power over the other guys bar Pacman .. didn't happened ..

He'd last with Floyd up to the point Floyd figured out how to push his buttons. Curtains after that. Khan had a bit of fans because he was capable of flashy offense but it almost always got him in trouble vs elite competition. We're talking about Floyd Mayweather here.

 

Yes there was. The Khan fight was signed but because Khan announced it first Mayweather got the hump and pulled the plug.

I’m currently halfway through Khan’s autobiography which came out this year and it’s a brilliant read. He’s really honest on the Crawford fight.

 

Does he admit he quit? Seemed that way during the fight. Which was dissapointing since Khan despite his glass chin has always showed heart.

 

Honest about quitting in the Crawford fight & not taking the five the referee asked him instead of lying like usual?

Pretty much says that during the time out he knew he was about to get brutally knocked out and there was zero chance he could win.

Comments about the Brook fight too, says he wanted to be anywhere else but there when he was making the ring walk.

No, Khan didn't fight smart. The Garcia fight is a great example.

 

Thats very honest then. Khan has done well given his chin which would always put him in trouble vs punchers.
He has had succes in boxing and made a lot of money. Despite being memed often he can still be pleased with his career overall I think.

 

He lost a lot of that money on a failed hotel venture. I think he’d have called it a day after Canelo if not.

 

Well about time, guess he had no choice to own up to it especially now after aligning himself with Team Crawford, now Khan just needs to own up to all those other false statements/lies backing fifteen years & he's good.

 

Floyd would murder any version of Khan. Anyone who thinks otherwise don’t know **** about boxing. It would be like Khan’s fight with Terence Crawford but even worse as Bud was sloppy in that fight after catching Khan early.
