You thought he fought more calmly earlier on in his career? I disagree, I thought he was very anxious early in his career, which also made him a lot more reckless...he fought very calmly against Judah, stuck to the gameplan, and pulled it off to a tee.

He's a bit in-out with his style. Wlad is very differant.

There were times in the Judah fight, he was on top of Judah and had him backing up, but then he would ease off - move out of range. That's what Roach wanted him to do.

The problem is when he faces pressure fighters, like Maidana. Now he was on his bike in the latter part of that fight. And he was constantly walking towards Maidanas big right hand. Needs to develop his ring intelligence.

He is a very good fighter, but untill Zab last fight, many where asking Zab to hang up the gloves. He dosn't have it anymore. Zab won the title when he turn back the clock some. I wasn't all that high on his win streak nor did I think he would beat Khan. Good win for Khan but not a win to slobber over him with.

He reminds me a bit of Oscar De La Hoya minus the chin of course.

I think he might start to sit down on his shots and really dig in with body shots now he knows his chin is not as bad as first thought.

Khan boxes the way he did as an amateur. He has fast feet and hands so he makes use of his reach and evades punches by moving out of range. I think he has great fundamentals! Pretty different style to a slick American boxer

There will always be questions about his chin.

I love how well he uses his reach and speed. I wish he'd tighten up his hooks and uppercuts instead of throwing them wildly, and put more bodyweight into his punches. But as far as a high-workrate fighter with good power he works pretty damn well.

He fought a very matured, relaxed fight against Judah, who arguably has more 1 punch KO power than Maidana. He didn't panic when hit and used his distance really well. He's improved significantly since last year in my opinion.

A real test would be putting him in with another hard hitting pressure fighter like Maidana. The more I think about it the more I hope Maidana beats Guerrero, which makes a rematch all the more possible.

Actually, this would be the best test to see how his ring generalship has developed by facing Maidana again.... If the Bradley fight doesn't come off by the end year, then the winner of Guerrero/Maidana would be an excellent fight. Unfortunately just think it will be Morales though.

Sad but true. I really hope Morales loses his next fight, then maybe GBP would have to reconsider such a bout.
