amir 'king' khan new nickname?

    You know... when a King gets deposed, they don't get called "King" anymore. When a US President leaves post, no one calls him the President anymore.

    That's pretty normal.

    Is anybody else getting bored of this.
    Yes we all get it. Irish fans don't like Khan because if the way The McCloskey fight ended. It was hardly Khan's fault nor was it a robbery, much like Khan v Peterson.
    But any time there's a thread about Khan McCloskey fans jump all over it to abuse Khan. It's getting boring. I really like Dudey but I don't see a re match happening. He made Khan look bad without really troubling him to the extent he looked like winning the fight. Hopefully he gets another world title shot which he deserves. But does that mean every thread about Khan from now on will just be full of insults about Amir?
    I'm not a 'fan' as such but I'd say it's perfectly obvious he's the most talented boxer in the UK by a long way and in a year when we,ve been losing champions all over maybe we should support Khan.
    All that said. He doesn't help himself allowing the people around him to say such stupid things on his behalf!

    Say that to Maidana who recently fought Morales and Bradley just fought a 40 yr old, but wait they are exempt from this criteria. Thats right Bradley the #1 140lbs fighter defended his belt against a 40yr shot boxer.

    Fact is Morales 35, is a WBC champ and he gave Maidana all he could handle. Khan or any boxer for that matter should be able to fight him for that belt. By the way, Morales next fight is against a 23 yr fighter for the WBC belt but I don't see anyone having any issues with that only Khan isn't allowed to fight Morales.
