Exactly. Far too many overrate Khan's punching power. He's adequate in that department and nothing more.

Do you think Bradleys a harder puncher than Khan if so who would you compare his punching power to.

Bradley? No, I do not necessarily think Tim hits harder than Khan.

Maidana does, however, and I suspect that Ortiz does as well.

I agree but for Khans fighting style his power is decent. But if he thinks hes going to beat Maidana or most decent fighters with his power standing toe to toe hes gon get knocked out again.

If Maidana's ppl get in touch with me I can give them a 30 seconds of strategy to guarantee a stoppage of Khan

Khan looks very sharp. I think he can outbox Maidana. But, if Maidana gets in close and goes to work, we will see how Khan responds.

Who exactly overrates Khan's power? People talk about his speed, not his power.

And you don't need power to drop Maidana!

Looking very sharp and his speed is excellent.

That said though, everyone looks good in training and on the pads - what makes this a great matchup is how well Khan will be able to execute his plan and moves when he's actually got Maidana in front of him, especially when he gets clocked.

It is EXCEEDINGLY RARE to see fighters get through fights without taking at least a little damage, so Maidana landing is all but a certainty. With his heavy hands it'll be interesting to see how Khan takes it. Maybe one looping left hook is enough to put Khan on the back foot and scrap his gameplan? Perhaps he feels he can take it and comes beck firing?

Special? Hardly. Khan has good offensive skills and excellent handspeed. Period. Lots of fighter possess both.

His future, on the hand, is not nearly as bright as some on here suspect. When Khan moves up in weight, he'll likely lack the punching power, or the chin for that matter, to cope with the elite cailber fighters at 154 ect.
