according to this recent interview, boxer Amir Mansour claims that he heard through a source from a member of the Cuban Olympics boxing team that Luis Ortiz is actually 48 years old, not 38!

go to 58:20 minute mark, for juicy details!

For a 48 year old Ortiz fights pretty damn good.... Might be a little older than he says he is, but still game. This is a good fight. Credit to Wilder for once.

Oh I've long said that Cuban age and normal age are two different things entirely lol, just the eyes tell you h was never in his thirties even a few years ago.
I kept saying this when all the AJ haters kept on rolling out Wlads age and how AJ should fight this monster Ortiz who is probably as old as if not older than Wlad himself, not surprised at all lol.

Mansours math is way off in this interview... Rigo won gold in Sydney and Athens, he was born in 1980 which would have made him 20 and 24 respectively. He might just be kidding and throwing some hyperbole around though.

Wow. 48 that's crazy. I guess the rumor of him sparring Whitaker is true. Remember that story. He's ancient

Gotta hand it to him.. he's doing pretty damn good for a 48 year old! If he is actually that old. If I were him I would reveal his true age (If he is 48) so when he KO's Wilder he gets the new HW record as the oldest to win a title. And that fraud Wilder will go down in the history books with him.

I don't think Wilder could live with himself if he got sparked by a 48 year old, much less lose his belt to one.

he would be the butt end of jokes from that day forward and immediately retire from boxing from sheer embarrassment. lol
