I've gotta admit, the guy is turning into an excellent body puncher. That's going to be a magnificent weapon for him in future fights.

The kid is going to the top. Fact.

He will be a top fighter, the only problem he will have is his chin, when he goes up to WW, but looking at the WW right now no one can really trouble him once pac and floyd have retired. Khan could dominate for years without really being truly tested.

not true, as you said his chin will still be a problem, he is getting stopped at welter when he faces a strong puncher.

If were automaticlly presuming everybody hits harder at welter than can we also say they are all also alot slower? In which case Khan will find it even easier to land a combo or 2, win the round then take little in return?

But to presume hed fall to the bigger punching Welters cuz of what happened in the Prescott fight and a couple of other wobbles at 135 would suggest that after being wobbled and stopped at 135 he should be getting knocked out now by the harder hitting Lightwelters such as Maidana and Judah.

i think once he faces a fighter who will just walk through his shots (a la rios) he will come unstuck but fair play to him, he's building quite a career for himself right now. as someone else said, there's not really many guys at WW who could really trouble him apart from the obvious....i think bradley loses to kahn. guerrero v kahn i'd love to see, he would give kahn his sternest test at JWW i reckon.

he nearly got stopped vs maidana, what he lacks in chin he makes up in heart, thats what makes his fights exciting. If he had an iron chin he would be very difficult to defeat.

He's improving, but Ortiz knocks him out at 147 and Maidana has a good shot in a rematch.

Based on styles, I think Khan falls victim to both Ortiz and Rios.

He nearly got stopped but didn't. I nearly win the lotto but didn't. Just saying. :)

Ortiz was stopped by Maidiana, so what does that say?

Khan took some heavy punishment v Maidiana that would have stopped many a fighter. I'm not saying Khans chin is the greatest, but it's not as clear cut as some like to make it. It's certainty not china imo.

Fighters who stalk Khan down and pressure him all night will give him problems just like Maidana did and Ortiz and Rios could. or an Elite Boxer like Mayweather.

Khan is top of his game at the moment and will be hard to beat.

i think khan v ortiz would be very interesting, i also think that guerrero and bradley fights would be a good way to judge khans ceiling. i think it's all coming together for him now, he now has the confidence and strength to back up his speed and he's proven that his chin isn't the handicap everyone thought it was. he really looked like a future star, i give him a real chance against a post prime mayweather. he just needs to fight smarter and learn how to clinch.
