"Promoter Don King has filed a protest with the British Boxing Board of Control, WBO and WBA on behalf of Marco Antonio Barrera claiming his accidental clash of heads with Amir Khan during the first round of their March 14 match should have resulted in the fight being ruled no contest..." He's got a valid point.

In normal and fair circumstance a cut of that sort would result in the fight being stopped. It was rather convenient they allowed the fight to continue up until Khan could win by TD.

Even Don King finds Warrens levels of corruption unacceptable.

I'm finding it hard to have much sympathy with either camp but Kings done much worse in his time as a promoter, maybe its time he a little reaped of what he sowed.

King says he wants a rematch.

So, another PPV money-spinning match against the legend Barrera, but we already know that Khan was much faster, much bigger and looked quite comfortable exploiting those advantages.

And people think Frank Warren would somehow be against this why?

On asidnote, so far what has been absent from these reports is any indication of the content of the conversation between Barerra, the doctor and the referee in round four. Didn't look to me like Barerra was agitating for the fight to be stopped...

This is bull****...all the cheating Mexican had to tell the doctor was that he couldn't see and the fight would have been NC'd. Its no good crying after the event
