I think it was worthy of a DQ.

You can't slam a guys head into the turnbuckle.

    Naz should have acted injured.

the reason mab dident want the fight stopped is he thought he would get to khan at some point, imo,he caught him a couple of times even with one eye,so maybe he thought he would catch him later on,when khan slowed.:hey
i was there like many others, and not once was mab hurt, pushed back with the speed, but not hurt.
saying all that, khan would prob of beat a 20% mab anyhow, unless:think:think:think

It was all set up for Khan to win

King should have never taken Barrera to Manchester if he really wanted him to win

It was obvious this was the Amir Khan Show - and Barrera was just the scalp for his C.V

If Khan had been behind on points and the one cut like that would they have stopped him in the 5th round?

Based on that fight - Khan has shown nothing.

Setting him up as a home town fighter.

If Khan is the real deal - then let Frank Warren let him go out and fight the worlds best out in America

Then he will be as vunerable as ever

If Khan becomes a World Champion this year I will be surprised

And I mean a proper world champion

Not winning a vacant WBU / IBO / IBA / WBF / WBO title in hometown Manceshter against a TBA

Do what Colin Jones done at 23 years old - go out to America and fight for the WBC title against the NO 1 guy in the division

If you are for real whats the problem?

    Prove yourself

The lightweight divison is much too tasty for Khan. He's got no chance of defeating anyone in the top 10. Look for a neat sidestep by Warren to take him up to 140 in the near future and then endless bollocks about him killing himself to make the weight.

Decent fighter, awful pundit. Told Calzaghe he was shot and needed to retire in 2003!

Yeah Calzaghe slagged him off in his autobiography cos Colin said Calzaghe was finished :patsch

But Colin only retired when he was 25 years old himself

So pherhaps he thought Calzaghe was about 31 then so maybe he was on the downward slide

but obviously everyone is different and Calzaghe still had another 5 years left in him

Changing the result would be a travesty as Barrera was getting a thrashing and it was obvious he was going to lose even before the cut.

And you're right,Barrera was begging the doctor to allow him to continue when the cut was first inspected.

Don't see any problem with a rematch, but the result would be the same

James DeGale might have a even worse energy

He is more concerned about how he cosmetically looks than how good he actually is as a boxer

    Its all about looking good

Which belt will look the best drapping off me?

Which trunks are the most stylish to wear?

I dont care about watching a video of my opponnet - just tell me Frank how much money am I getting for this one?

I dont care how you manage my career Frank just tell me how much of a sigining on fee I will have?

I should throw a jab here - but if I just dance about a bit it will look better

If I win this title fight - Frank will you promise me a new porsche car as a congrulations present?

    DeGales motivations are all wrong

Put your desire to be the best first and learn your trade - and material wealth will follow - as Lennox Lewis did

But its the other way around with DeGale I think

Money / Material first - becoming a good fighter - not as important

Driving a mans head into the ring post is not worthy of a DQ? :-(
