nah they dont want to save it Colin Jones wants it knocked down as it has "outlived itself" It is a building still standing from a time that belongs to the past The time has come where this building now has to be reduced to rumble and confined to the memorys of history As sad as it is time passes on and things change The future is they have a lottery grant and plan to build a new £105,000 gym on the site - maybe twice the size of the current boxing shed If you look at my avatar picture the empty piece of grass land next to it is room to build a even bigger newer boxing shed !!!!!!!!!
the building is way older than my house and Colin jones was training at that gym before my parents even moved to the area
i thought the way you was speaking about it was that it was going to get knocked down and everyonme was unhappy
maybe Enzo Maccarenellii might come down and train at the brand new gym People from all the area are gonna want to check out this new £105,000 state of thae art gym
Very true Flint. Would we expect to see you down there punching a few heavy bags at the new £105,000 gym? Use gloves mind. Fat Joe always reminds us of the time you hit one of those Boxing machines in a bar full force and fell to the floor in agony.
I doubt I will train there But of course I trained and sparred over the old shed when I was about 15 - 16 years old I was going to fight amateur - but I didnt go through with it in the end - no regrets though - I dont fancy getting bashed up with crowds of people watching you - sparring in a gym was ok but fighting in front of big crowds would probaly have me shitting myself :scaredas: Fat Joe is the only one throwing punches around town and on them machines He knocked a kid out who was threatneing him with death on Wind Street in 2007 and said he based the punch on how he had been practising on the nightclub punch machines :deal
