Well considering Khans seems very likely to face Mayweather in September, Alexander and Algieri, his last two fights will prepare him perfectly for Floyd. Both slick, fast, technical boxers.

This is true my friend. What some fans fail to consider is that Mr Algieri is a means to an end. When Amir beats Algieri in dominant fashion it allows TMT to sell Amir-Mayweather especially if Amir can do what Pacquiao wad unable to which is stop Mr Algieri. Kell Brook is a good fighter and yes it is a big payday but a fight with Mayweather is worth much much more. Suppose Amir fought Brook and won but suffered an injury that ruled him out of contention for a mega fight with Mayweather. Floyd only has two fights left and one of them is almost certainly going to be a rematch with Pacquiao. I mean Golovkin wants to drop from MW to WW and fight Floyd. Name me ten occasions where a fighter wanted to drop two weights and fight another champion. It is because Mayweather is the huge money fight. Kell Brook is going nowhere. If his promoter follows his M.O Kell will defend his title twice against no hopers like Frankie Gavin and still be there when Amir gets round to him. Its just business folks thats all.

Mayweather is more likely to fight somebody who sparked Khan out - Garcia.

I am certain that is not going to happen. Garcia has looked awful at 140 and he's not even fought at 147 yet. His name hasn't been mentioned once.

who mentions khans name other than khan and his pretend boxing fans

it was not that long ago khan had never fought at 147 but that did not stop him from trying to get the fight

need i remind you khan looked awful just three fights back :yep

If Cotto manages to beat Geale I think it's got to be him for the linear middleweight title. And we'll all believe Floyd is the bestest middleweight in the whole wide world.

The more I look at this, the more I believe Khan is the choice for the September date.

And, that makes sense to me, from all aspects.. From the Mayweather view - he's beat the rough an tough front foot fighter (maidana) he's assured his legacy (pac) now the only real question is coming from Brits, can he deal with speed at his age... And the only kid who can question that is Amir.

(For those who slag Khan - let's be honest - you've no real reason to do so, he's proven he's above the level of every other British fighter time & time again, (with exception of froch)
