    Prior to match room yeh I'm convinced crolla fought for next to nothing yes...I'm as sure that Mathews did too , sole reason he's still fighting (yes now FW landed him a big fight) Same goes for Dodson , Barnes , PAUL smith (prior to his Abraham fights) the list goes on...

    Not a chance did groves - degale fetch that amount of money. No chance. !! That's ludicrous , a lot of what your saying makes sense and has relevant debate but those figures are sheer mental.

    Too much blame is attached to the fighters when it is the matchmaker/promoter/manager etc who usually decides who a boxer should fight. I agree that there were some domestic fights that would have been great for the fans but Mr Wa rren decided not to make them for Amir. Amir would have fought them if the fights had been made and the fact that he has fought much better fighters since proves this. I can appreciate that as a fan it frustrates you but promoters and advisors dont care what you think. They want to maximise their return and its as simple as that. Is it annoying? Absolutely. What can you do about it? Nothing really.
