having met his manager & team last week - i was surprised to see how professional - down to earth these guys are and the training is unbelievable. he will never sack his family talk like that is just crazy - its golden boy trying to make the deal - khan just wants to fight - thats what he told me anyway.

Whilever the money is rolling in from HBO it's hardly likely they'll fight here.

He can still go to Primetime and get paid at both ends.... similar to what Froch did for his last three fights.

Showtime were doing the main production and they'll have used their feed to keep costs down.

It's actually not a bad business model really from Primetime.

This is what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you, Khan before he was established on a solid ppv foundation with regular solid numbers in effect told sky to do one, now he is complaining.

    Cant have it both ways.

Didn't khan knock froch for having no tv? Khan will still get decent money from hbo but its absurd that he won't even have mainstream exposure in his own country. Trying to call sky's bluff when there is no viable alternative was a big mistake.

If the Primetime ppv was such a success then why not just carry in down this route do they realise that those numbers were full of Irish buys and secondly benefited from the work sky did before the deal fell through. Not forgetting the extra media coverage the fight got due to the fall out with sky.

You could see how delighted Froch was to be brought into the fold at Sky, it is the only place to be for top boxers. Khan was rushed onto PPV too early, as it was the only way Warren could afford him. He has done very well financially and fair play to him, but for his last fight he should have looked at the bigger picture. Crazy, short sighted decision to fall out with Sky.

Not blaming Khan but Golden Boy have being jumping the gun again saying Khan will definitely fight on this date so potential opponents know they need to find someone acceptable in the opposite corner so they all up their demands.

Bradley is just waiting to get free from Gary Shaw IMO. Should have took the Khan fight but HBO deserves equal blame.

I don't think he has one.

Maidana is the interim ''champion'', but they'll quite happily let those two steer clear and collect two lots of wedge.

Funny how Prescott is conveniently ranked at #6

I can see that fight happening now, even though it's utterly pointless.

I think the Judah fight will happen now that its clear that the Pacquiao fight isn't on for him this year.
