    Almost a week old, just came across it today.

    Surprise surprise.

    "Diaz was the man and he was what we were moving towards, but Campbell beat him and now we will have to see what the WBO decide."

    It shouldn't make a difference, Diaz would be the best opponent he's ever had by miles.

    Why doesn't Warren make a decision, and get a decent opponent in there, meanwhile allowing the WBO to decide on the colour of shite.

    I find it funny that Warren decides to let the WBO make the decison on a title shot, when he has got Skelton, Rees, Earl and Cook title shots from worse positions than Khan was in over the past year.

    However if you think Khan should fight Diaz your being ridiclious. That fight is the biggest example of big risk no reward.

    So, according to the link in the opening post, Warren says Romanov is not on the radar at the moment as you're talking about the euro title and Khan has gone past that!

    Not so long ago Khan's camp mentioned Romanov as a possible opponent - perhaps they don't fancy him after his display against Thaxton or maybe they were just name dropping....

    Shame as thats a fight I'd really like to see.

    It's never going to happen since Diaz is fighting Casamayor now, and Casamayor has been changed to the WBO number one challenger.

    No, I think it's lame how he says they were considering Diaz but he's not in the equation anymore (yeah, because he lost the title, but that doesn't make him any less of an opponent, especially when you consider the track record).

    It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. He doesn't want a title fight next, yet for some reason he thinks Khan's "gone past" the European title. If anything, the European title (especially against Romanov) would justify a world title shot.

    As if beating Kristjansen puts Khan ahead of Romanov! I'm getting really fed up with this drivel, and it's becoming embarrassing to see Amir lapping it all up. I can't wait to hear who his next opponent will be, and how team Khan will hype him up.

    i find it hard to believe that khan is a number one contender for a version of the world title on the calibre of opponents he has faced so far.
    surely the romanov fight has got to be next!!!

    Lets hope they come up with someone good.

    According to the Daily Mail after Khan v Kristjansen - impatience with Khan's "warm up fodder" is wearing thin judging by the empty seats at the Bolton Arena....
