Ammo Williams retired?

    Brian Roses manager speaking on IFL, saying that they had agreed a fight against Williams on the Canelo card, which was pushed to the Haney card.

    When the undercard info came out, and there was no sign of their fight, they asked Matchroom who said that Williams had retired.

    That seems really weird that a young prospect like that would up and retire.

    Anyone else hear anything about this?

    I was surprised when Rose's manager said Williams had text Hearn telling him he has retired. I looked on his twitter and a couple of weeks after his last fight he posted:

    "Mf’s switched up on me and that was a terrible business move.. nah that was just a terrible life decision."

    After that he has posted his art and calls himself an Artist on instagram. Maybe he is changing career or he has been taking something he shouldn't have. Hopefully it isn't related to loss of a family member/friend.

    What is wrong with Ammo Williams? He said F Eddie Hearn and said he's retiring because he doesn't want to get punched in the head anymore.
