There was a misunderstanding that Ruenroeng and Casimero failed to make weight , and the first page was about that

    ...but, nothing at stake? (obviously)

I strongly disagree with that. I hate when boxers are gifted the championship distance simply because they're big names when there are no titles on the line (nor an eliminator occurring). It further cheapens the belts which is something the sport really needs less of, along with less preferential treatment and rule-bending for those with 'celebrity'.

Hopkins vs. Pavlik and Mayweather vs. Márquez for instance, both should have been 10-rounders unquestionably IMO, no matter how brightly the participants shone in the pantheon of boxing stardom.

It's in China, do youthink they could give this one to Casimero just because Amnat was such a b**** in the first fight?:think Or there's always a possibility that Casimero could win via DQ.

This is close to a pick 'em anywhere in the world, I'd say.

Well I mean if you're a big enough name you can take an illegal IV and face no consequences.

Given that level of corruption in the sport of boxing you really think missing weight will prompt the boxing organizations to reduce the number of rounds?

You scored the first fight a shutout right? I think I gave Casimero like 3 or 4 rounds, and he was robbed of a KD.

There is zero reason not to reduce the number, other than propagating the elitist idea that well-known boxers are more above the rules than guys toiling in 4-rounders on undercards their entire career. They shouldn't be and that attitude needs to change.

I did but that's largely because Ruenroeng managed to dictate what a filthy trough of pig-feed that match degenerated into, and Casimero was kind of flabbergasted and never recovered (despite coming on late with a game effort to course-correct).

He's a good enough fighter that with having some time for reflection and game planning since then he could enter with a strategy to neutralize Run-Wrong's BS and make it a cleaner fight, one in which it would come down more to pure boxing skill, where they are in fact pretty closely matched.

Of course, there is the distinct possibility that it just follows the same formula with this pair fitting that pattern from your Madrigal of Krusher thread - a guy that simply can't adapt to supreme awkwardness (in the moment or even with advance prep time) versus a guy who thrives on sowing chaos and getting opponents to scream omgwtfbbq. :think

Unfortunately I think that'll be the case again.:-( Ruin-Wrong will molest him again, although I'll be whole heartedly rooting for Casimero to knock that ugly mother****er out cold. I'm happy to hear Ruenroeng can't make Flyweight anymore, maybe that can lead up to him being fed to the oh so Kovalev like Monster Inoue so he can play his Madrigal on his heinous cranium.:hey

Both men made weight. You might be confused with the mock weigh in with Mike Tyson right before the official one.
