Amnat Ruenroeng Vs Johnriel Casimero RBR

I'm two rounds in and this is absolutely filthy. That said, Ruenroeng is dominating even in the "cleaner" moments.

20-17 with a bullet. Without knowing what ultimately happens at this point I'd not have been projecting it to go twelve.

 

Borderline no-call a minute into round 3. Ruenroeng honestly could have been ruled down, running face-first into a Casimero overhand right and stumbling off-balance, glove and maybe a knee brushing the canvas. The punch landed, and he may have stayed upright without it doing so (which is the standard definition..) :think

 

Then moments later you have Casimero slung onto the canvas when Ruenroeng sweeps his arm 'round his neck like he was caning a Vaudevillian performer off the stage. :rofl

Then a 45 second break with a third of that remaining before the bell to retie Amnat's shoe!!

What a spectacle.

 

Ruenroeng is one of the best technicians in the game,

 

Yeah, and up there with a shout as p4p best Thai...although likely to be a short-lived time on top as he is a 35 year old flyweight.

 

Casimero is absolutely no chump, making this all the zero-cooler (if you overlook the shenanigans)

Guy's only blemishes were being stopped by Mthalane, and the SD to Hirales - no shame in either - and his W column boasted Guevara, Lazarte, Rios and Canchilla.

Definitely qualifies as the 5th in a very special run. (although IMO the Ioka fight was poorly scored; off-night for Kazuto but I still thought he deserved the nod)

Román would earn a zillion points with the diehards (bringing his account ledger to roughly three zillion) if he were to say fuck it and give Ruenroeng the call-up at this point.

As for Ruenroeng's special run of five, it goes: Fuentes, Ioka*, Arroyo, Shiming, and Casimero.

 

Oh right lol.

 

...and unnecessary. You can tell he could outbox Johnriel without breaking a sweat and never have to resort to any of that.

Amnat's just a bit sadistic.

 

He seems to be fully aware that he's 2x as strong as any other guy at the weight and loves to display it lol.

 

Through seven, a clean sweep for Ruenroeng plus a couple of knockdowns.

Anybody find one for the Filipino by this point? (or, ever)
