Tel me about it. My coach punches me harder in 18oz gloves than I've ever been hit in a fight with 10oz gloves.
In our gym when someone prepares for a fight spars every day 3-4 rounds*2' with minimum strenth (30-40% of total strenth) and every Friday usually 10-15 rounds (70-80% of total strenth). That is kickboxing not boxing. I am sorry about %, it is not a mathematic formula but I couldn't find a way to describe it.
I sparred with a few girls. I dropped one with a liver shot which really was not a hard punch (the entire gym looked at me like what an *******, it was not intentional), so I can imagine why Kolya is not enthousiastic about it. If you wear head- and boobgear D) it shouldn't be a problem. You are much better than the girl I sparred, she had no defense at all. I sparred another girl with better fundamentals and it went just fine.
